18 of my family celebrated our Golden Wedding there on Sunday, we had a private room downstairs, the food was fantastic and although 18 of us our meals were all delivered at the same time. Thank you Jay and your fantastic staff xx

Great food and service! Not overly spicy but just enough. Wasn’t overly salty either. Chicken Biryani was excellent. And the sauce in the Paneer Tikka Masala was sop-up-every-last-bit GOOD!

- Friendly and warm service with a smile. - Excellent food. Went off-piste from the usual madras type dishes and was sceptical about this, but glad I did as it was fantastic. - Ended up going 2 nights on the trot which I’ve never done with an Indian.

During our two-week holiday we spent two pleasurable evenings at Cinnamon Island, enjoying the beautiful decorations, the wide range of tasty dishes and the friendly service. As Cinnamon Island is definitely one of our holiday highlights, we can clearly recommend a visit to all of those who are fond of Indian cooking.

No complaints whatsoever. Surprise birthday meal out for my wife as she loves Indian food. Plenty of food, lovely and hot & full of flavour. Ok maybe a little pricey, but isn't everything these days! Would definitely recommend and would go again. One handy hint, if going on a Friday or Saturday night, earlier is better as it gets very busy.

Happened upon this little gem during a work trip to Dover - without doubt the best Indian food I have ever had. Really looked after by staff as a solo diner - so glad I found it!

A really great place for dinner. Great service and exceptionally tasty dishes. We ordered the Lamb Staff Curry, Saag Aaloo, Bombay Aaloo, Chicken Dhansak and Garlic Naan. The meat was cooked perfectly and the naan was soft, warm and absolutely delicious. Just a tad bit heavy in the oil and the wallet, hence four stars. Otherwise a highly recommended place to delicious food.

Cinnamon Island was extremely pleasant and had excellent service. Waiting time between food and drinks was minimal. Food was fresh and tasty. Their naan bread was superb. I felt that the soft drinks were overpriced at nearly £3 for a 330ml can sized bottle. Whilst our experience was good overall, the bill for just a simple meal for 2 and 3 drinks was high at £35/head. It is lovely going out to a decent authentic restaurant, and would go again.

This place is lovely, the staff are very nice and polite. I wanted to try something different and the staff gave good recommendations. Food was very nice not too spicy but wasn’t bland. Large potions and presentation was also very good. The staff put all left overs in takeaway boxes for us to take home. Overall had a lovely evening at the Cinnamon island and will be returning.

Annette & Jeff 1st time eating here and have honestly never tasted food like it - off the scale. In house poppadom sauce is fantastic. Magic Mushrooms starter is a "must have". The taste !! Multiple mains I have never tasted the likes of before. Even the Onion Bhaji's and Sag Aloo are not your usual dried offering - "must have" Service by Ray & team is top class. WILL RETURN AND YOU NEED TO GO HERE!
