Amazingly tasty seafood, with a wide variety of choices in the menu. Props to the helpful waitress who told us how big the portions are / what they consist of.
Vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes which I also tried and were delicious! Not very expensive dishes, I'd say it's average price.
Nice overall atmosphere of the place itself too! Will come again if I find myself back in Dover.

Brilliant service. They were busy but the Maitre 'd spotted us immediately and seated us.
Food service was prompt, almost as though we were expected.
The atmosphere here is wonderful, it's almost like sitting in a museum...see my photos
Overall, I was very impressed and would come back if I had more time in Dover

Lovely place to eat/drink by the harbour, very good view of the cliffs. I had a chicken, bacon and cheese panini which was tasty, I just prefer my bacon a bit more crispy. Staff were friendly.

Great find, a bit out of the way, but most certainly worth it. Bar & pub atmosphere, with outdoor and enclosed patio seating. Very tasty food with a wide menu.

Cullins Yard is actually like a big yard sale- fun and full of interesting artifacts. If you sit on the patio, you get a nice view of the cliffs and the marina, but you'll have to order at the bar. We went there for a late lunch and the dishes were good portions and tasty, but they could have been a bit more seasoned. The salmon was great.

Loved this place. They're boat people which is my people. Loved the decor and the wait staff were helpful and informative.

Food and drink was lovely, service wasn't very fast even though restaurant was half empty

Surprisingly nice find.
We came for a Sunday roast and did not leave disappointed. Service was quick, food was filling and cooked perfectly.
We also ordered mussels which tasted super fresh and was the most psuprisingly element.
Price was also great value. Would come again.

What an interesting place... its like museum full of all kind of stuff. Food was good, prices : decent. Staff were professional, but I d like a bit more of interaction, it's not a complaint, it would just add some nice touch. Maybe there were busy? Generally very positive experience.

Loved my fish and chips with a skewer of prawns from this pub restaurant. They didn’t really do takeout but were kind enough to make something up for me because I had to catch a train. Great value and delicious! I especially appreciated that they made a little cup out of tin foil to hold the tartare sauce!
Very friendly and helpful staff who were welcoming

Service is excellent! The atmosphere is great and fun. So many cool items around to look at. Pigs ear beer is a mild IPA with good flavors (I am not an IPA guy but did appreciate it and have a second glass). Wave Cider was refreshing. Fish n chips was good, Lasagna has cheddar which was good but surprised my kids tastebuds. The cheese Burger and BBQ Chicken sandwich were voted as the best by all 4 of us. That is not to say the other meals were subpar the other two just hit the spot more. I would definitely come back again.

Great place right next to the harbour at Dover. Great staff, great service and a lovely place to just sit enjoy would highly recommend. Lots of outside seating for the warmer weather when visiting again.

This pub is situated near the beach just down a small side street and with whole marina views at the back.
It has a very cosy ambience inside, the menu is extensive and we'll executed and the whole place is amazingly adorned with old memorabilia from yesteryear.
For dinner we had fish and chips and it really was excellent. For drinks it is worth noting that if you are a fan of German beers they have quite a few actually on tap - including wheat beer / Weißbier which is really great to find. They have the usual choice of lagers, wines, spirits and a few ales on pump too.
There is a large outdoor section as well, with and most of it is covered. Great for quick pint or make a day of it!
Highly recommended.

This place is a 5/5 no doubt. A bit hidden but so gorgeous. Lovely staff, tasty food, good music, great atmosphere. That view as well! We can't wait to be back!

We were looking for an early dinner after visiting Dover Castle, and came across this place. It’s about a 10 min walk from the castle, and serves yummy mussels! Fish & chips was alright; the chips were really good though. Friendly staff, and nice cosy atmosphere.

Enjoyable places to grab beers and some food. Full of historical items all over the place. Walls, ceiling full of history.
We arrived Friday night little before 5pm was empty. Soon got busy. We stayed in the main bat area.
Service was good, food was good. Starters Prawns and spaghetti Bolognese main. Coke and 6 beers. Then a short walk back to the boat 🚢 as we set off for Dunkirk.
Good outdoor area smoking with heating.
Would go again with the lads.
5 stars if they had Chocolate Fudge Cake.

Cool little spot that opens late. Right by the port so you can grab a quick bite before heading out or when you come back. Slightly disappointed, the only in-house beer was out. Otherwise good selection of draft beer and full bar.

Have just attempted lunch here and almost was poisoned. I ordered the overpriced paella for myself and my elderly mother. This dish is with saffron rice, which turns the rice yellow. However mine arrived a dirty algae green muddy colour and smelt unappetising..
Manager came over and advised too much spice must of gone in and advised both dishes would be replaced straight away. A little while later 2 x paella with the correct in appearance arrived at the table. However the shelled prawns had black heads and black legs meaning they were undercooked.
Manager once again came over, quite unhappy at being called back again and advised no one else has complained.. Took my dish away again and I refused any further food. These dishes were not paid for.
My advice would be to stay away and since "no one else complained" I will be perusing this down formal avenues to exact a higher level of culinary care.

What a wonderful place! The surroundings are fabulous, the staff excellent; and of course the food was great!. My husband is from Dover and we have been coming down here to visit family for 42+ years. We never knew it existed until we popped into the shop outlet next door when we came down in March. We always go to Dino's if we are only staying one night, so finding Cullins Yard has been a mega bonus ! Our friends came with us this time and were very impressed. We will certainly be seeing you again. Thank you so much for a great evening.

We like this place so much, keep coming back.
Staff are welcoming, nothing too much trouble.
Great selection of food, always well presented and cooked nicely.
Good place to come with family,or just light bite after shopping.
Also do great roast and have group on Sundays.
Resonanable prices and good selection of wine and beers.

Lovely food. Excellent service. Would recommend this place for food or a drink.

This place is the most interesting pub resturant you can go to a visual delight. The food is amazing and the drinks just the same

Had a great meal here tonight. We were looked after superbly well by Olivia, who, despite being absolutely rushed off her feet, took great care of us, was polite and friendly and did her best to make sure we had a good evening. She is a real asset to the establishment and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. The place is quirky with lots of interesting things to look at. Well worth a visit in our opinion :)

Food was excellent. Service a bit slow, but extremely busy on night, we were a big party and not enough staff probably. Staff were very friendly however. Overall, very good.

My wife and I had a lovely meal for our birthdays, all the food was stunning and well presented and considering there was a massive group of people in the service was excellent, really couldn't fault them

Well dont know were to start from entering an exciting restaurant to the WOW food portion and the frendly employees. So you can see you cant go wrong. Thanks Cullins for a great time.

We dropped in on a day out for lunch, mid-week. It wasn't busy and so the service was speedy and good. Food came in good time. My chicken burger was delicious. My mum ordered an open sandwich and is was huge! Far too thickly sliced bread for such a 'light snack'. Kids meals were great and they both ate well. My husband enjoyed his pork belly special but said it was a little chewy. I wasn't a fan of the chips or my meal being served on a wooden board (the only reasons it's not 5 stars). You could do far worse than have a family meal here.
Sam Powell
The food was great. The atmosphere was fab. The setting was amazing !!!!!!!!! Would recommend this to everyone 😊

Great food and good service. Very happy to have found this place for a Sunday afternoon dinner

Now I wouldn't usually give Cullens yard 1 star, but my whole family's dinner wasn't just bad but a lot of it couldn't be eaten, fish dishes tasting of oil and frozen food! A polite word with 'management' was pointless has he didn't care about his customer or reputation.

I loved the atmosphere. I found it so relaxing just sitting by the waterfront having a quiet drink with my other half, our daughter-in-law, granddaughter & grandson listening to the live band & enjoying the music. We will definitely be going back not only for a drink but also to have a meal.
Steve White
Only popped in for a quick drink, but food looked & smelled great so will likely be back?
