We stumbled upon this gem on our first night in Dover! What a surprise in the most pleasant of ways. The food was the best we've had since arriving in England 8 days ago. Service was great, friendly staff. Portions good. A fabulous place to have dinner while in Dover, highly recommend Virsa!
This was my second visit to this restaurant in a week , it's in the heart of the town and ideally placed .. the manager could not be any nicer and explained the dishes to a T . The decor of this place is subtle and does not take away the fact it was an old popular pub so it shared a great mixture of pub and restaurant atmosphere that made for a relaxing fun evening . The food is spot on and is of high quality with a varied menu to cater for all tastes be it a mild dish or more adventurous , I really have no complaints to give about this establishment.. definitely will be returning
I have loved the Virsa since it opened, but last night I was at The Boars Head doing takeaway Tuesday and online it said the Virsa wouldn’t deliver there, but when I phoned up it was no problem at all. They do the best chicken tikka I’ve ever had and will continue to get my Indian from there! � highly recommend!
Very friendly staff and amazing food which tasted lovely. Even allowed to take away what food you can't manage to finish off in restaurant. Would recommend.
Proper traditional and authentic Indian cuisine. I have been fond of indian spices for as long as I remember and have been eating all around the nation, wherever possible. I must admit that this restaurant served the closest touch of real and authentic Indian taste so far. I loved the ambience of the venue, well decorated, neatly arranged and friendly staffs. I don't seem to understand why some people have had bad experiences and reviews towards the establishment. Anyway, a Defo place to visit whilst around. Thanks to the whole team and will be back again for sure.

I paid my first visit to 'Virsa' last night.
On arrival, I was greeted immediately and showed to a comfortable table. The restaurant is spacious and has tasteful, calming decor and a relaxing ambience. The staff were friendly and attentive. The meal was very nicely presented and the food, delicious.
I highly recommend this new restaurant and I look forward to returning in the not so distant future. 5*
Food is great and a bit different to the usual Indian restaurants which makes you try new dishes. They will also adjust the heat of the dish to your taste. Very friendly and attentive staff. They didn't even try to kick us out when we were the last left (oops)...We have been on 2 occasions now and love it...definitely returning!
First rate experience on our first visit last night. Very attentive staff, the food was delicious, and the prices reasonable. We'll be back!

I have just had a wonderful takeaway from here. Full of flavour and meat. I would go as far as saying the best I have had from Dover in years. I will trying the restaurant very soon as it can only get better.

Amazing food and friendly service. This place is a gem hidden in Dover, once was a pub and now boasts authentic flavours of mouth watering Indian cuisine. Hats off to the chef and the owner for creating this fantastic experience.
Amazing tasty Indian food. Probably the best I’ve eaten yet. Very authentic. Good service and not too noisy. Prices are very good too. Definitely will be visiting this again when I’m in Dover.
Called in after docking at Dover Port. Very warm welcome and lovely aromas greet you on entering. The food was amazing, from the onion baji to main course. Chef also came to see if we liked the food, very professional touch. Highly recommended...
Food is great, with meal combinations good value, have had a couple of flat beers from the tap early evening so stick to bottled beer if your first in. Main dish can sometimes be lacking a bit in its main ingredient, ie a chicken dish may have only a few chopped pieces of chicken and couple of pieces of chopped potato hiding in the sauce to make it look like a full portion, I find this disappointing as I order Bombay potato seperately! I have never had a problem with food quality which is the reason I return
I have had Indian meals all over the country and even overseas and i have got to say that this is the best Indian restaurant i have had the pleasure to eat in. Immaculately clean, wonderful service with a smile and the food is absolutely brilliant. If there was 10 stars it would get all of them. Thank you for a superb taste of pure Indian cuisine
I'm really glad they found a right use for this property as a restaurant, It's very spacious, comfortable and decorated to a nice taste without any sensation of a feeling its bare or you are in a huge empty space. I'm a repeat customer here both in and out, my favorite is their Madras dishes with a small pot of yoghurt which you can ask for.
Best curry we've had. No wait to be seated, food out quickly. Very tasty. Portion sizes were just right. Highly recommend.
Excellent service, we all ordered the tandoori king prawns for starters and they were huge and perfectly done! Im a bit of a pig so i tried everyones dish on our table, all delicious!
First time visited. Very nice meal with our friends. Restaurant staff were very pleasant and interested in their customers enjoyment. Overall I have no doubt in recommending The Park for a great evening.
Very good Kadai Chicken. Tikka Masala doesn't taste like original Tikka Masala, tomato souce, without spices or coriander, with a lot of sugar. Slowly waiters.
Very big restaurant with grand decor, having quite a good menu and amazing ambiance. Had a wonderful time with family, service was very good and the food was delicious.
This is my favourite Indian Restaurant. I am never disappointed with the food or the service. Will most definitely be returning..
