Love this place! Lovely welcoming and warm atmosphere. Had something to eat yesterday- I had the cheese & onion pie, chips and peas (delicious) and my partner had the steak burger (also delicious) .. I’m greedy so I had a chocolate fudge brownie too- which was absolutely yummy! Definitely be back for food & Josh enjoys having beer there

Lovely family friendly pub. Large family friendly garden with a skittle alley, a putting green and plenty of seating. I ordered the lamb shank yesterday and it melted in my mouth. Will definitely be back.

This is our local, popped in yesterday with family and spent lovely couple of hours peacefully in a gorgeous garden. Have promised ourselves to call in more often. Roger never changes after all these years. Highly recommended

First time here today, lovely welcoming atmosphere, they were happy to see our little dog (I did phone earlier to check) and even found some dog biscuits for him. Food was great too, and the log burner added a bit of extra warmth. Very family friendly, we'll certainly be back!

A wonderful traditional pub set in a quiet village just down the road from Dover Castle. Food is served by friendly attentive staff and is presented well and prices are excellent for the quality and quantity. The pub has a big well kept garden with a putting green and skittle alley. A pub for singles, couples and families. Highly recommended.

First time visiting the Chance and certainly won't be the last. Staff were very accommodating as we phoned and explained we were running late for our booking (sorry again!). Absolutely fantastic food, thoroughly enjoyed my burger and the kids loved the huge chips. Lovely, big portions but unfortunately no room for pudding on this occasion. Have recommended go family and we hope to all visit again soon... albeit on time! Thank you for a great lunch.

One of the best dining experiences we've had the pleasure of. The food is excellent and the staff are great. It's situated quite close to Dover and should be a must visit for any tourists.

Our family took 'a chance' on this pub and we were not disappointed. It is a lovely place, run by lovely people. Efficient friendly service and great food. We have returned many times over the years and have always felt at home.

Friendly service, and the burger and chips were excellent, with just the right amount of Balsamic on the salad garnish. Only one real ale, London Pride, which was well kept. A shame it wasn't a beer from Kent, though. A cheerful place, with a pleasant garden.

The Chance Inn is a great place to have an evening meal and a cold beer. We have been going there for a few years now and they never disappoint. First you are greeted with a warm and friendly smile and you immediately feel at home. We have ordered several items off the menu and all dishes have been very tasty. Thumbs up on the vegetarian dishes as well. We'll be back! Oh, a dessert is a must....

Great pub in a quiet village with an amazing beer garden. Be prepared for lawn envy! Half of it is a nice little putting green and there's an outdoor bowling lane!
