We found this place on the first day of our visit while staying outside of Falkland and spent 6 hours shopping. A short respite in the cafe provided us with delicious treats and cappuccino. The lemon drizzle cake was very lemony and the service was wonderful. I started to get a headache and our server, a lovely woman, couldn't have been more helpful. I found a great book on the Battle of Culloden that I read before visiting the battle field and museum. The only problem is that it was in the "antique" book section but was written in 1977 when I was 30! The men had been golfing and we went back with them another day and spent a few more hours amongst the different shops coming back with more great finds. Hoping to return one day for a repeat performance including the cake and coffee....and another dose of Scottish hospitality 💕
It's our favorite shop so many nostalgic items and always lots to see I love the jewellry and very rarely come home empty handed the cafe is also fab it's always on my where to go
Plenty selection to look at. Lunch in the bistro was amazing. Defo worth a return visit.
Beautiful stunning place. We all enjoyed very much.
Was a nice shopping spot, easy to find. Lots of variety.
Took my mother here for a visit. We loved it. The new and the old. Staff were amazing and friendly. The smells from the beautiful restaurant were tempting us. But mother could not be swayed from her love of antiques! We will be back!
Brilliant variety of Antiques and Collectibles. Quality merchandise.
Beautiful unusual home wares , gift ideas & gorgeous food ! Plus extremely helpful staff . A mornings shopping trip can quickly turn into a whole day out there are so many treasures to find ! :)
The home baking is amazing, lovely friendly staff.
Lovely antiques centre with something for everyone and a nice wee cafe at the end!
Love this place, full of stories . Looking forward to my next visit already :0)
Very nice food, excellent fish and chips, great cakes, love atmosphere and friendly staff. On the expensive side but we felt it was reasonable for the quality. Plan for pub and restaurant prices not cafe costs. A wonderful little spot and a lovely break when you're spending a day exploring antiques!
Lovely seating indoors and outdoors with a delicious selection of food and coffee, and beautiful vintage decor. The chowder was delicious and flavourful. Tables were lovingly separated by delicate lace sashes and there were art pieces on the walls for sale. There’s free wifi for patrons too.
Amazing Hebridean eggs on a toasted muffin. The Hebridean bit was the veggie haggis!
First time here even though they're only 10 minutes up the road. Wasn't disappointed! Reasonably priced with a nice selection. Very pleasant staff too.
Lovely meal of Venison today and they were happy to give e my elderly mum a small portion of a main meal. Staff very freindly.
Stunning food! The best chowder I've ever had! ❤️
We happened upon the cafe a little by accident, but we are very glad we did! Lovely atmosphere and just superb staff. The food was delicious and even though it leaned a tiny bit on the expensive side but it was completely worth it! Will be returning again as soon as I have an excuse. :)
Been there a few times while visiting the antique centre. It is a fantastic place that is warm and comfortable. The food is amazing, I've had the fish & chips and mac & cheese which were great. Brilliant coffee, tea & cake too.
What a lovely find, superb friendly service and great food. Very dog friendly too, highly recommended!!
Absolutely first class service today during a busy restaurant day . Food was delicious, delivered quickly with water and treats on offer for my dog. First class friendly and efficient.
Had a really nice lunch here. The place is nicely turned out (apart from the fake wood beams wallpaper) and the service is excellent.
Nice selection of food on the menu. We had the chowder and the rarebit. The chowder was 1st class, creamy and tasty with lots of fish and some nice bread. The rarebit was described as a light dish, but was actually very heavy, think it might of been better on some nice bread rather than muffins, which added to the density!
Its very expensive, we paid £50 for lunch for 2, just main and cake and one drink each (coffee and beer) plus the portions of cake were very small - we were going to share, glad we didn't.
Definitely worth a visit and we will probably go back, just ne prepared to pay.
