I'm Brazilian, me and my friends found this place right next to the hotel we booked on June, so we decided to get to know the place!
They have a variety of food, several waiters to serve you, meat rodízio :), we Brazilians like it a lot.
If you go to Douglas and you would like to try Brazilian food, that's the place to go.
The staff are great, polite and always available, fresh food, the place is comfortable and clean.
We prebooked this restaurant using Google maps. This restaurant is a hidden gem as you walk underneath the main building to the basement area where this restaurant is stylishly decorated and was full. This Brazilian restaurant serves up to 14 meats on skewers and you can eat at your own pace. The Buffet area has a great selection of additional sides and main dishes. This was a very popular place with families and groups of people definately recommend booking in advance. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Overall great place to eat.
It was probably my third visit here, and yet again I was not disappointed.
Rodizio is Portuguese for rotation - the waiters bring freshly cooked meat to the table and they are carved from large skewers onto your plate - we were served chicken, pork, lamb and beef, as well as pineapple and cinnamon.
There is also a large salad bar, with a choice of dressings and a range of hot courses.
All very delicious and well worth a visit.
If you're a Brazilian who's homesick for food, you'll be well served. The meat is delicious, the buffet has a nice range of typical Brazilian food (from coxinhas to farofa and feijoada), and the staff is very attentive. Some specific roasts could surely be improved (like chicken hearts, which were over roasted and thus dry), no deal breaker though. All in all, definitely recommend.
Good quality welcome and food. Decor and ambience modern, clean, welcoming and Brazilian. Salad, starters and sides buffet a healthy mix of some British standards (e.g. potato salad, corn on the cob) but amid the chef's special preparations of good flavour and variety. Main provision is then a supply of a wide range of freshly cooked and flavoured meats, typed at the end with warm, sweet cinnamon covered pineapple. An excellent experience week with a visit. I should say that fish and vegetarian options are available, not just the steak and chicken which is otherwise core to their menu.
A very well decorated restaurant that is much nicer than you would expect from the entrance under a row of hotels. Nicely modern decor for a more than functional design.
The cooked meats were pretty good, though the salads and sides were not of quite the same quality.
The half grill was well large enough for my partner and myself, but feel free to go for the full one if you are very hungry and like the additional variety.
The toilets are clean and appear well looked after.
It does not appear to have a disabled entrance, so may not be wheelchair friendly. If you need this Isuggest that you check with the owners.
Not the cheapest place to early in Douglas, but the food made it one of the better places that we tried during out visit.
We have been there few times now and every time we left happy. The food is delicious and the staff is lovely. Special thanks to Sunil for the extra portion of hearts!!! (You are super with us!)
We went as a family with 3 young children and we all enjoyed it.
The meat is freshly cooked, soft and just amazing. Highly recommend… and highly advised to go hungry there :)))
We will be back!
Really delicious food. Especially the beans and the beef rib. All the staff were fantastic especially Chris and the patient service staff. We will be back.
Lovely service and nice clean restaurant. I would honestly give 3.5 but 3 is too harsh.
I think the concept of a Brazilian BBQ works best in large and very busy establishments otherwise it is inevitable that meat ends up dry/tough and the buffet gets a little tired.
The food and service were both excellent. The staff was very welcoming and nice. All of the food was very good and high quality. The lamb, picanha beef and honey glazed pork were particularly good. We will be back. Soon.

Excellent dining experience! Friendly service, huge selection of food, you have to try the Brazilian Sweets they are to die for!
I ate in- all you can eat until you can't eat anymore 😂, there is a huge variety of salad, croquette, sweet potatoes and.... The variety was huuuuuge,
and just had take away (pic)
If you are a "meat" person, you must come in with your good friend 👍
Hopefully they still do the grilled kanel ananas 🥂
Price is reasonable (it's quality food to be honest, the best pieces of meat and every other dishes)
Love and Shalom Shabbat
Booked a table for 12 with no problem or prepayment online. Very good food, the buffet was to die for and the meats were amazing. I do wish there was a non spicy option as a couple of our party were unable to eat those but other than that the meal was lovely. A top up of water on the table would have been appreciated or a second drinks order. Ambiance was great and as the restaurant heated up they turned the air con on which was greatly appreciated.
Loved Rios. Ate till I couldn't move. Friendly staff. We had the all-you-can eat option. Plenty of meat. Really enjoyed it. Would have loved some dessert options though. Great food. Great service.
The Meat, especially the chilli beef, is delicious. The sides (buffet) are really taste as well.
Authentic brasilian food and spices.
I can recommend it by 100%. Probably the best beef on IOM.
Great experience, fantastic meats and service was brilliant.
Restaurant was very warm.
Excellent service and great food. Went in quite early and on my own as I'm visiting on work but the staff were polite and attentive. Lots of choice and I like you can choose between a full or half menu which most Brazilian places don't let you.
Buffet had nice options too both with the hot and cold offerings.
