Had the best meal with two friends last evening. We all had different food and each and all of us enjoyed every morsel. Beautifully cooked food, three courses, clean plates. Can’t praise the chef enough! Superb!! Good friendly service!

Had a surprise meal here tonight for my brothers 40th...16 of us all together. Food was delicious & the staff were superb. Couldn't of asked for better service, nothing was to much trouble! Would definitely recommend.
The food here is absolutely a-maz-ing! The island has been dying for this kind of rosette standard! If you are looking to experience the kind of dishes you see on "MasterChef The Professionals", then this is the place to go 💯
Really good food at a great price. Their sticky toffee pudding can't be beaten! Exceptionally helpful and friendly service. Good for a meal but not really somewhere to just have a drink as it's mostly tables laid out for food.
This is the fourth time I've stayed at the Mereside and as always it's been great. Nice rooms, comfy beds, staff who make you feel welcome. There's plenty to choose from at breakfast and the meals in general are great.

The room was on the small side, but perfect for an overnight stay. It was clean, offered a nice shower and most of all a very comfortable bed! Breakfast was really nice too.
Fabulous food, such a different menu served in a friendly cosy environment. Not expensive & can't wait to go back.
We had 2 meals here while on holiday August 2015. The first off the standard Menu the food was excellent also good size portions the service excellent and we decided to go back and try the Thursday night Mexican special menu again a fantastic evening.could not fault the food or service.
Good drinks at good prices. We went back the following night and had excellent food. Some of the best we have had on the island and we will definitely be back!

The restaurant is large and the seating is spacious. The menu is not extensive but the food is fresh and well prepared.
There is a bar service too.
