We went to The Meating on Saturday for our 23rd wedding anniversary. From the minute we entered we were looked after by Taylor, what an exceptional waiter he is, nothing was too much trouble, once he found out it was our Anniversary he moved a love sign to our table. Now the food, the best steak on the island cooked to perfection, mouth watering and every bite delicious. My hubby had a cheeseburger and said it was best burger he has had. I had the strawberry tiramasu and hubby the chocolate moon to finish both perfect. It was the best night out we've had in a long time. We both highly recommend this restaurant service and food are amazing. (My only point ... take cash for tips)
Fantastic service and absolutely mouth watering food. Had the mixed grill on day one then went back next day for some sea bass. Really enjoyed the meals with family and friends. Environment family friendly. Will be back whenever we come back for a visit
This was our first experience of this restaurant. Warm welcome and excellent service. Time taken to present the different steaks on offer was a lovely touch. The meal was superb and the fillet steak was the best I've had in a long time, cooked on their charcoal grill and cooked to perfection. We were offered complimentary Turkish coffees and Turkish delight sweets at the end of the meal. We would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and we shall be back soon.
We enjoyed it so much we returned following night for round 2. Simply delicious steaks, meatballs, bruscetta and desserts. Staff excellent and reasonable pricing. Just go there you wont leave disappointed.

Great Turkish food and the Turkish red was very nice too. The staff was very attentive and professional. It was a tad pricey but to be expected for the IOM for some tasty food. Loved it

Absolutely great! The food was delicious, great flavors, service was great, great atmosphere, clean, and overall great experience. We had the Manx queenie for starter, rib eye steak, sirloin steak, prawns, and lamb kebab. We also had the cheesecake and baklava for dessert. All so excellent! Highly recommend!
Great food quality, good location. Needs to have horse radish in condiments and a smaller steak option than 8 ozs so one can order a starter too
First time visiting IOM and did some research on steakhouses and this place come up highly recommended. I went for the Fillet Mignon and requested it to be cooked medium. It was cooked to perfection, very tender and no fat on the edges, exactly how I like. I had sweet potato fries as a side, though the steak come grilled garlic mushrooms and spinach. It's fairly expensive here, as the fries were £4.95 extra, and in most steakhouses this would come with your steak, however the taste and quality was excellent and I would definitely go there again.

First time there for a Fathers Day treat. The staff and the service is very good. The food was beautiful. The ambience of the place is good. Downside was that the desserts menu was lacking with our choices not available so this means no 5 stars this time. Will definitely go again and recommend to others.
