I have to first mention Charlie on the bar. Absolutely made our night as we went out for early cocktails (2 teens and 2 adults). Nothing was too much trouble. Our request for not on the menu, virgin cocktails , was served with a smile.
We had been attracted by the glow, the Christmas lights and so on. And it didn't disappoint. Lovely atmosphere. Blazing fire stacked with logs. Even the chips from Kurries and Steaks were amazing. I can't thank you enough. Highly recommended
Slightly unusual bar, very lively and busy, with a wide range of drinks. Own distillery out the back making all sorts of spirits such as white rum and vodka.
Only as Good as your Toilet

Now this review, as all ours, are based on the TOILETS of this premises. We believe that regardless of your fancy bar, nice food and cool décor, if you’re toilets are disgusting then you FAIL. Going to the loo is a BASIC function and this should be at the top of the list when considering customers.
WOW – I’ll say it again, WOW..
I only have 2 pictures that I took so not a great view to see the layout etc, but rest assured, this is one of the nicest pub toilets I have ever been to. Clean, modern, nice handles, nice mirrors, everything about it was perfect..
Not much more I can add really, if there was the option to add 6 stars, I would.
I also visited during the last TT week so it could well have been a bit tired from the 2 weeks festivities, but NO – prefect.
Remember, you’re only as good as your toilet.
Good atmosphere, friendly bar staff, nice choice of cocktails, shame the 241 not much choice but normally something for everyone.
Came here for tour and tasting and really enjoyed it. Great to hear the history of Gin and to taste the wide variety available. Stayed for food as well and so glad we did as it was 5* quality at a very reasonable price. Staff are great as well which made the whole experience outstanding.
If you are in Douglas then come her if you are elsewhere on the island then travel to Douglas so you can come here!
Lovely place!! Very Friendly Landlord, went above and beyond!!
Brilliant meal this evening - the best yet. Absolutely loved the crayfish starter and my duck was perfect. Will be back very soon for more! Really friendly staff too. One of the Isle of Man's best restaurants!
Great choice of drinks. Fantastic music. Excellent prices; really reasonable. Bar menu looked delicious but we had prior reservations elsewhere so unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to taste.
Fab place, nice inside, great own distilled vodka. Lovely American lady served us. She was very helpful and informative. Needs more external signage as we only stumbled across the place on out last day of our holiday. Would recommend.
Not a massive gin fan but my word I had a great time! The staff were so friendly and were able to find a couple of drinks that I absolutely loved! The food was likewise exceptional and I had a lovely evening overall.
Great pub with real ale and gin distilled on the premises
Big shout out for the barman/Max he went above and beyond to help and gave a great welcome on a rainy Monday night

Good food, good drinks (especially the gin and the vodka). Had a meal here for the first time and the steak with a pepper sauce was particularly decent. Service was very good and well appreciated.
A lovely modern bar with great music and great staff. Can't wait to return
Excellent drinks, great friendly staff. Haven't eaten here yet but we will. Highly recommended.
We met our two friends for pre dinner and drinks. The mrs and friends went for a cocktails.
Whilst i enjoyed the spitfire lager and it was great, having not seen that before in the uk. Impressively the spitfire tap had its own metal tap and the beer came in the correct glass. (Its the little things) They also had the local bushys beer on, which was good too see. Ive noticed the new resturants on the island are doing away with the local beer in exchange for weak mass produced beer from Europe.
The cocktails tasted ridiculously good and looked really impressive. I was slightly jealous.
