Behold! The world's best sausage roll! Initially, we purchased one sausage roll and one curry pie. Not two minutes later, we were back in buying two more sausage rolls. I recommend this is detour worthy on any road trip.
I cannot express how good this bakery is. We have been a few times, so have tasted a few of their items; sausage rolls, steak pies, haggis, neeps & tattie pie and their brownies. I am not exaggerating when I say that all of the above have been genuinely the best baked goods I've ever eaten. Fresh, d
Lovely family bakery where you can eat and drink inside or take-away. The sausage rolls are absolutely fabulous. The premises are spotless and staff so nice, polite & friendly. Passing through Douglas like we were? - a must to stop there!!
Travelling south on the M74 we called in for a coffee and left with an armful of pies and sausage rolls!! These are the best steak pies we've ever tasted. Amazing sausage rolls too. The treacle scones are also amazing. So get off the M74 and head for Douglas Bakery, you will not be disappointed. (So
This bakery is well worth a visit. Bread tastes amazing. Focaccia fabulous. Too big for the two of us, we thought so the baker told us how to freeze and reheat it . No need. It was eaten up within half an hour. We live in Bucks but when next up your way we will definitely do a detour to visit this l

Stuffed steak pie, we loved them so much I forgot to photo mine and only managed to capture my partners half eaten pie...can't wait to visit my parents again as this is going to be our regular stop. Ps. Get off m74 and try it only a few mile
I was returning to Ayr having been down South and on previous journeys I’ve seen this bakery as I drive past. Yesterday I decided to stop and purchased a meat pie, sausage rolls and an apple pastry. The meat pie was absolutely amazing and I can assure you I’ve tried some of the best but this was up
Trying not to waste a warm and sunny Sunday I jumped in the car and made the 40 minute drive to sample the pies. The steak balmoral pie was outstanding. A great portion size and absolutely packed with tender steak chunks with a perfect amount of gravy. With a coffee and a pastry to follow up I was
Found this Artisan bakery / Aussie Pie Shop in the middle of nowhere. Fabulous sourdough bread, pies and sausage rolls all baked on the premises. They have a small seating area and serve tea and coffee. What's not to like.
