Great place downtown to get a 5 $ tall boy and looks like they have an extremely large liquor selection seeing that they have a 18 ft or so foot rolling latter to get access to all of them. We're also very accepting of me and my service dog and gave her water and asked to give treats 5 stars!

This place has a good vibe to it. I travel to London often and this pub has a very European style. The food is delicious and the service is fast.

Great place with excellent beers on tap. Scotch egg was one of the best I've had. Bangers and mash were alright, wish I had gotten the fish and chips like my wife did.

St. Patrick's event with cover charge is worth putting on your calendar. Line dance performers, live music: bagpipes, flute, acoustic and electric guitar. Swag. Irish food! CASH event. Expect to have a great time. 2023 cover was $25. dinner $20, drinks: $9 -$15.

If you like a good Shepards pie and a great place to chill on a Friday night, you’ve found it. Really relaxed and great atmosphere. Nice drinks and wine selection.

Best in the north west. Very knowledgeable staff. Great happy hour. Fantastic drink’s and really amazing ambiance. I met an Irish fellow here and he was very pleasant. He gave me a coin with a 4 leaf clover and promised me I would experience good luck for years to come. Also the bathrooms are clean

Best Ruben in PDX, the lamb French onion soup was top quality. Wouldn't miss it for the world.

I can't say much about the ambiance, the menu, or the service at Paddy's, as my one and only experience here (thus far) has been their St. Patrick's Day festival. A $25 cover is a bit steep, and the drinks served inside were smaller than I'd like, but it's a damn fine party. Live music all day, relatively quick lines, and a jovial, lively atmosphere. Their location in downtown is a bit of a bummer; I didn't even know they existed prior to this last weekend. However, what I saw (briefly) of the interior was warmly appointed and inviting, so I cam curious to return and check things out in a more subdued atmosphere. Whether or not they're a worthy rival to Kells, Kelly's and other storied Irish bars in Portland, has yet to be determined (to me, anyway).

Found Paddy’s after our original dinner plan failed. Really glad we did! The atmosphere was great and our food was excellent. We really enjoyed our meal and we will definitely be coming back. Easy access from Max and plenty of street parking on a rainy Tuesday.

Overall patties is a great place. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming. The staff is very friendly. We got the Reuben and the fish and chips and the pretzel bites while we were there. Most of it was good but the bread of the Reuben was over toasted and and a little burned. The fish and chips was also overcooked so the breading was kind of dry and dark. But for both things, the insides of them were delicious. The fish was tender and the meat in the ribbon was really good. The pretzel bites were just okay.

Good drinks, solid cocktails. Irish poutine was delicious and sharable with friends. Atmosphere was okay, lots of sports fans. Booths can be a tight squeeze if you're on the bigger side. Bathrooms are nice

Out of towner visiting for the first time. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Suggestions for whiskeys was very helpful. And then it turned interesting. Paid the bill with cash and a tip. Left the bar and had Darren the bartender run onto the street after us. Thought I’d made a mistake by underpaying. Seems $20’s and $50’s look much the same after a few whiskeys. I’d OVERPAID. Darren was honest enough to chase me down. Of course I increased the tip. I’ll be back. (Actually in Paddy’s now writing this review). Downtown Portland is nice but Paddy’s takes it further to great. Ps the food and drinks are great too

My boyfriend and I traveled from Seattle to Portland for the weekend and found this gem! One of the oldest bars in Portland! Great bartenders, atmosphere was on point and the Poutine… wow!! Highly recommend and will definitely be back to try the fish and chips!

This place is a classic. It's one of my first place where I was exposed to the wide variety of spirits. They have gone through some changes over the years, but the bar and the selection of alcohol is still great. It's a place to enjoy a cocktail or two...a bourbon or whiskey...pretty much anything you want. I had an Old Forester 100 while waiting for my Bangers and Mash, which was delicious (had it to-go).

Established in 1974 Paddy's. I absolutely ♡♡ everything about this beautiful Irish pub!! First time I've ever come to an Irish pub and from our wonderful waitress to our food I give them a 4.8☆!! (On mine it allows me to give from 1 ☆ to 5 ☆) I had my very first Guinness beer and enjoyed each sip. I highly recommend this pub!! The food was amazing and I also highly recommend it. Prices are very reasonable from the drinks to your choice of food. From the ceiling to the walls on down to where your sitting always something neat to see. I will be back here again.
