The Highland Larder - Dornoch - Photo album

Found this little gem on Google maps while looking for a place for lunch during our tour in the north of Scotland. We had a haddock warp and a Cajun cod burger as well as Cullen Skink soup. They were all delicious and fresh. I saw someone ordered a shared platter and it looked amazing. If I come aga
For my birthday I decided I wanted fresh beautiful seafood and was recommended this place.. I was not let down . I ordered the sharing platter.. this consisted of parmesan chips, half a lobster, scallops, mussels, salad and dips.. I added some langoustines.. when they found it it was my birthday the
A wee gem I found just dotting about Dornoch. Great location next to the beach & it was very busy! The haddock wraps were so popular they were out by the time I arrived. Went for the Cajun Cod Burger and it was so big I saved half to bring home for later. Will be returning to try out the haddock wra
Great, fresh food, fun and open minded owners & a really spectacular view, we had a seafood platter for two which was amazing, they even bake their own pita breads. Hard recommend!
Delicious and fresh seafood in a picturesque setting! Enjoyed the soup, crab salad, lobster, and chips. Excellent coffee as well!! Vendor was running low on stock when we arrived but what they did have was very good.
The location close to the beach is great. The chef was super fun and friendly. The food is amazing. The mix of Scallops (with milt sack!) and Blood Pudding with a fig chutney is just insanely good. If you are around make sure to get your lunch here! Whoever loves seafood, will love this place.
This place was great. Drove out of our way on a tour of the Highlands. This was one of the best meals we had on our whole holiday. I had Scallop and black pudding salad. My wife had Fish and chips. All was beautiful. Served like street food like but felt and tasted very high end. Wish I could post
what more could you ask for than a delicious lobster near the sea? intimate place, delicious food, beautiful surroundings. Amazing 😊😍
We visited after reading great reviews and were not disappointed. What a brilliant little business selling fresh tasting seafood. I had the fish soup which was absolutely delicious and kids enjoyed their fish and chips. All was of superb quality and tasted fresh. Friendly service too and very effici
Friendly service, great food in generous portions. We picked up ice coffees and came back later for the lobster brioche and crab sandwich from their current menu to eat at the outdoor picnic tables.
Excellent food and great little beach cafe. Well presented and we didn’t have to wait long.
Great location for a quick snack. We enjoyed the haddock wrap and the cajun fish burger.
Absolutely beautiful food and in a lovely location. It was raining and grey but so wonderfully dramatic. The menu had some lovely choices and the staff were lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Nice place to sit outside and have a coffee (reasonably priced). The food however is pretty expensive, so we gave that a miss. Staff were friendly and helpful.
WOW! Delicious food, great service! A great place to stop at the start of our NC500 adventure
Lovely scenic place with great food! Perfect for a quick stop.
We had amazing fish and chips and a battered haddock wrap with salad and tartare sauce, stunning views as well. Would highly recommend eating here if your visiting Dornach beach
Absolutely delicious seafood platter, I'll be thinking about this meal for a long time
Excellent. It is in a touristy location next to caravan site and beach but it's far from usual overpriced food you might find at similar locations. Each part of each dish is great, from the salad on the side to the main dish.
