Pretty decent as the only food option in the tourist spot. Pleasantly surprised.
Steak ale pie is comparable if not better than some so-called Bib Gourmet gastro pubs, tasty meaty filling, crunchy crust, warm and beautiful.
Pancakes are quite sweet, but the texture is bouncy and fluffy. Bacon is on the oily and less squeaky side but it’s not too bad.
Apple pie is not too sweet and refreshing in comparison.
Coffee is also balanced from an automated machine.
Such a cute and lovely cofee shope, with an amazing view of Castle. It has varity of cakes and food, but just a bit pricy.
Though once you have the visit of castle it feels very relaxing to sit and have a good short meal here. Coffee was nice.

The staff here went above and beyond to make my autistic son a toastie he would actually eat. Thank you so much for helping everyone feel welcome. I took off one star because there very very few gluten free options. Otherwise, this place is AMAZING!
Great scones and rolls! We were with a tour group and stopped here for coffee. The service was good and the waiter, he was nice and helpful. Too bad we didn't catch his name.

Stopped off to stretch our legs. Got some coffees and cakes. Wee wonder. Lovely setting with a cracking view.
The focaccia was very good, coffee too. The views are spectacular.
