We stopped on the off chance with no reservation, it was busy when we arrived as there was a coach trip there. The lady at the bar said she could seat us for food in half an hour so we returned and my partner had the haddock and chips which he enjoyed and I had the scallops and black pudding starter
Good location pub & restaurant serves wonderful food! Staffs are very friendly.
Lovely place, friendly staff, good pub food. Scallops were great, as was Caesar salad (even though unusually garlicky), other members of our party had fish and chips and burger. They do not serve hot drinks, and won't hold your table for more than 10 Min if you are late! 😱
A little boring if you're by yourself, not the best "show up and meet people" kind of place, at least on an off-night. That said very friendly staff, good IPAs, and the leek soup is AMAZING

We had a great evening at The Clachan. On Thursday nights the kitchen is closed, and there is a fish & chips truck outside. The fish was fresh and delicious. There was live music starting around 9. 5 guys and a number of different instruments. The atmosphere was wonderful and the beer was great
We chose Dornie because of this pub and we didn't regret any at second. Lovely pub. Joe and Steven and the lovely service ladies do a fantastic job.
