In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Dorking. It seems like quite new (or recently renovated) judging by interior and the menu but everything is done very nicely. Popped in for lunch. It was quite empty which was surprising as the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I had hot smoked salmon and triple cooked chips.
Really good food, and friendly service. Only missed out on 5 stars because of income speed of service- went from incredibly efficient to where are they?! ( It was noticeable that the waiting staff all went on a break at the same time). However, still recommended
Found this to be the only place after 4.30pm (other than Dorking Halls) I could get coffee and cakes in Dorking (it's professionally run). Lovely experience; excellent coffee and cakes, friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. Cocktail list looks great as well.
