Lovely family meal with my children. Good food, great service and excellent value.
It was a refreshingly good experience for a chain restaurant. They greeted me and offered complimentary raspberry lemonade when I was seated. The service was quick and food was brought piping hot. The staff were attentive (but not overly so as to make me self conscious while eating) and I also saw the chef let an adorable boy from another family pretend to be a chef himself. The friendliness and personality of these people show that not all chain restaurants are soulless! This one was like sweet and thoughtful personified and has delicious food to boot.
Excellent service and superb food as always. On this occasion the poor server was on her own, as someone had called in sick. She coped brilliantly with a large table of more than a dozen plus a fair few other smaller tables. The food was obviously a little slower than usual but nobody minded because she and the rest of the staff were clearly focussed on doing the best they possibly could under difficult conditions.
Highly recommended.

The missus originally went for a gluten free green pizza of sorts, and wasn't quite keen. The lovely waitress spotted that quickly though, and offered her a replacement (mushroom and chicken risotto), and it was spot on.

Typically I don’t go to the restaurants that have less that 4.0 rating. But I was in the area for quite a while and passed by several times and it looked nice inside. So I decided to give it a try. I don’t understand where the bad reviews are coming from since I’ve been there several time now and everything was good. Tasty food, good service and nice atmosphere. Especially tiramisu was outstanding!

Everything looks clean and well looked after only gripe is I think the music that was playing was a bit unsuitable (Tom odelle another love) and it was too loud so we had to raise our voices to speak but aside from that amazing will be eating here again.
This is a great restaurant, I went for a romantic meal out for an anniversary and the atmosphere was great.
The staff were helpful and didn't interrupt the whole time.
The seating was slightly deserted, but we did go at an extremely quiet time on a winter evening.
We have eaten here on 3 occasions in the last 18 months. This is the best Ask restaurant we have ever eaten in. We are not local and use it as a stop off point on our way back to the south coast from London. Katrina is excellent, the food is the best of the franchise we have eaten and it’s so consistent. Pre-booked a table for a family get together on a Sunday afternoon. Got a great table but it was pretty quiet anyway. Lovely food, attentive waiter and even managed to sneak a few vouchers in for a bonus. Kids loved it. Will go back.
The new Management in Dorking is awesome. Just popped in at Ask Italian for the first time without booking for family and we enjoyed it.
Restaurant was beautiful. You should see it for yourself. The lighting was warming and the Architecturing in this building was beautifully representive
Service is entertaining and working with a smile on their faces all the time. There has been no complaints on that day, even though the place got bit busier.
Our food came together with drinks and we could eat and have a laugh. I did not have more expectations and they had a great service and a warm family welcoming.
I would definitely recommend/invite my friends and family to ASK ITALIAN and we would like to come again.
Excellent variety of food and great choice for vegetarians. We ordered 6 of starters to share as a meal and each dish was outstanding. Quick service.
