We stayed here (beautiful rooms, beds like sleeping on a fluffy cloud) and had delicious food and friendly service for dinner and breakfast. Good beer and cider on tap too

The food was absolutely outstanding, every single thing we ordered was delicious and very well cooked using quality ingredients. Every meal was so full of flavour, we enjoyed every thing we ate. Portions are generous so we felt it was very good value for money and the service was warm friendly and timely. even though we ordered late in the evening we weren't rushed to make decisions and every person who served us was personable and accommodating. The white chocolate bread and butter pudding was exceptional and I can't wait to come back and eat it again. The atmosphere in the pub was lively and warm, everyone looked like they were enjoying good time with friends. Every single thing about the evening was a highlight and we would recommend to everyone.

This is a beautifully refurbished inn with superb attention to detail. The menu and drinks have been carefully arranged. The food is cooked with finesse and presentation is excellent. Not too fussy but a celebration of good cooking and great local produce. The wine list includes some local wines too and you'll also find some local distillers such as Silent Pool get space here too. The shop next door is a delight. A review will be up soon on my blog eatsurrey

Warm & friendly with fresh, tasty food (highly recommend the sharing ploughmans platter & cloudy cider after a long walk!) Plus Becky smiled & let us in even though we were half an hour before opening time! Will definately return to try more of the menu & promise to not 'gatecrash' next time Thank you!

Beautifully refurbished and renovated country pub. The Plough still has a great drinking bar and fab menu with all the usual pub favourites and yummy seasonal specials. All food sourced locally. Definitely worth a visit. Also beautiful en suite rooms available at an excellent rate. Well done to John, Becky and their team.

Stayed here for one night this weekend whilst mountain biking in the area. Beautiful room, amazing food, brilliant helpful staff. A lovely treat and change from what we usually do which is stay in our campervan when riding the Surrey Hills :)

Top pub. Tolerate (very) muddy mtb riders and looked to be dog friendly to. Shop next door carries tools to help fix bikes. Food looked lovely.Selection of good ales. Definitely recommend and will return. Great place !

Had a booking for 16 people on Saturday night. Started in the bar where there is a lovely atmosphere & a great range of gins, beers & bubbles. Moved into the barn to find a beautifully laid table and was served a delicious 3 course meal. We were very well looked after in our private room by Becky and her attentive staff. All agreed it is a great venue to be highly recommended.

Best chips ever ( sorry mum ) with cheeseburger. Washed down with 2 pints of their very own Puma stout. Can't recommend enough.

Absolutely delicious homemade burger, and my other half loved the pork. Clearly a chef who knows what he is doing and cares about preparing high quality food!

Need somewhere to stay somewhere near Gatwick airport and this place fitted the bill. Had some trouble getting somebody on the phone, but after I booked the room they were very helpful and set me up to check in late. The room was lovely, very comfortable and they had gone to the extra effort of leaving out a bottle of water for me which I appreciated. Breakfast in the morning was much better than expected, a classic full fry up and included in the price. Excellent value, very comfortable, would definitely stay again.

I didn't stay here. This is a review of the pub. Very nice spot in the middle of a very nice part of the country. Lots of great walks and bike rides to be had to and from here. Food is of good quality and atmosphere is what you want from a country pub. Unlike a lot of pubs these days, there is enough staff here and they don't ignore you. Such a rarity that you'll come back.

I stayed at the inn and ate at the restaurant, both were excellent! Location is hard to beat too, right across from Surrey AONB. We walked out the door and right onto a hiking trail. Gorgeous and affordable overall.

Excellent countryside pub. I had the best bitter and a pale ale, both were really nice. They had a BBQ as well which was a very nice touch. We stopped here on our walk of Leith Hill, I think there were quite a few other walkers here as well. Very nice, I'll stop in for a pint when I'm next in the area.

Best pub in the village. I think it's the only pub in the village to be fair. Delicious food, very cosy. Make sure to book in advance as it gets full very quickly. Their cafe next door does epic snacks and coffee if you just want a light bite. Lamb pastie gets my vote.

We stayed one night, honestly the lovely lady that checked us in could not have been nicer. We had arrived just after 11am because we were off to a wedding and needed to get changed. This really was a huge ask as check out for previous guests was 10.30am. A room was given to us to change our clothes and we were told where are keys would be kept to collect when we came back from the wedding. Rooms perfectly adequate, breakfast fantastic and our lovely lady was the perfect host. We hope to come back in Autumn with my dogs to take advantage of the walks which are right on the doorstep. Worth a mention is the great shop attached to the pub serving delicious coffee, cakes and pastries. Perfect 🤩

I took my mother here a few weeks back for her 80th birthday lunch. It was well worth it. Friendly staff who went above and beyond. We all enjoyed the food not to mention the stunning location. I couldn't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay there, otherwise I would have given 5 stars!

Popped in for lunch while on a very muddy ride, the lady behind the bar couldn't have been more accommodating even arranging for food to be in takeout style boxes so we didn't cover the place in mud. Will definitely be stopping by next time we pass.

Great little coffee shop for a break on our cycle. Coffee was good and the cinnamon bun tasty. More space at the back in the sun.

Love pub, cafe and accommodation. I would recommend The Plough Inn in Coldharbour to friends and family. Both the cafe and pub serve lovely food and drink with first class service; all located in an idyllic country hamlet in the heart of the Surrey Hills. Just watch out for the road bikers rush at coffee time!
