On a very rainy afternoon we arrived in Dorking and walked to the nearest cafe to escape the weather ... Mullins Coffee Shop... We were given a very warm welcome by the lady owner and the guy that served us, lots of choice on the menu with some specials thrown in. We chose sandwiches and a hot panini both came with a salad and we had a pot of tea for 2 in bone china teacups. Our food was delicious and plentiful, the prices reasonable, the cafe is extremely well decorated and has a lovely ambience.x

Came all the way from Florida to come here as it wasn't open yet the last time I was visiting family here. Enjoyed my breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with an excellent latte. Very friendly and welcoming .

Basil and Susan have recently taken over Mullins - I've been here several times since and the coffee, fresh baking and warm welcome are fantastic. Don't miss it! Or Susan's scones....

Not being from the area, I asked a local where is best to go as I had a few hours to kill. They pointed me in the direction of Mullins. I was greeting by great customer service and even better food, iced coffee which was perfect and you can tell they do put a lot of care into their food and their relationships with customers. Whilst sitting here there were people coming in just to say hi to the staff! Great atmosphere and if you are travelling through Dorking, itโ€™s definitely worth to stop.

Love how much history is packed into this little coffee shop. The staff was so friendly and happy to have so many people in their cafe. Quick service and the food was delicious. Many veggie and vegan options for food. Indoor and some outdoor seating. They give you a delicious piece of ginger cake with your hot drink it was very tasty.

Lovely friendly service and atmosphere. We ordered the scrambled eggs and scone with jam and cream. The perfect homemade scrambled egg on lovely fresh bread. The scone was the best we've ever had, beautifully light. Will definitely be returning here.

I am totally in love with this place. We were there for breakfast around 9 AM in the morning and we were their first customer โ˜บ๏ธ. Such warm staff, they served us really well. They come and ask you if everything is ok, if you like your food or not, If you want anything specific with your food. They have preserved their place really well and written everything about the story of how this place has started.

The best ever service in my life, I felt like a special guest in a 5 star restaurant but at the same time I could feel the warmth and kindness of the family business. Went there for the afternoon tea, very good food quality and quantity

Very nice place when visited Dorking. Tea and food and ambiance very good. Really happy visit even though overcharged but I decided to let it go. Unknown to me my partner had challenged it but bill was not changed. We only ordered three things. I got tea and separate pannini and she got tea n scone. Should come to ยฃ14.65 but charged ยฃ17.45. It was a simple add up when i checked it with their menu. Not sure why when my partner challenged it that the error could not be seen. Could not be bothered with refunding as I paid with card. So decided to let them have a 'tip'. Other than that excellent place which is why I decided to still give 4 stars. Seems lovely family run place but they should be more careful when billing.

Wow! An amazing little cafรฉ. Dog friendly and wheelchair accessible. Food and drink is of the highest quality, and at a reasonable price. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Giant pots of tea served in China cups. Ginger cake taster squares and scones as light as clouds! Serving breakfasts through to afternoon teas. Easy parking. Its my go to coffee shop in Dorking. Can't praise it enough!!

Really nice place. Very friendly, Really good food. Nice historical feel. I definitely will come again and recommend to my friends. Had the Mullins panini and it was very nice although the salad was a little bland. Coffee was a nice size as well and got a very nice sample of the ginger cake.

Lovely couple running the place. Great lunch time atmosphere. We just had some panini's which were quite standard - good but nothing special. The Victoria sponge cake was nice. Would go back.
