The Cornish Bakery - Dorchester - Photo album

Excellent food and drinks. Great little cafe with homemade pastries and deserts.
The food and coffee are at the top end of the price range but whatever it is, its always very good. I just wish they'd do something about the queueing system as I'm sick of people at the back of the queue grabbing a table, whilst their partner queues and by the time you get to the point of picking u
Visited Sunday morning 12/03/23. Choice of 5 or 6 pasties with different fillings. Also other savoury things like sausage rolls. We had 2 different ones, both tasty. Selection of cakes / bakery products, all looked appetising. Nice airy contemporary decor, big windows at back (garden) Clean loos. St
I came in on Wednesday afternoon for some lunch and a coffee, I was served by a lovely young woman named Issie, she had a lovely bubbly persona! And was extremely helpful. The food was nice and hot and was very delicious. The coffee was amazing, I had a tall white. (I had never heard of it before bu
Homemade sconces with Jam and Cream absolutely sweet and delicious. Interior is modern and stylish whilst feeling warm and inviting. Service was good and friendly, but could be improved. Prices are very reasonable.
First time visiting the Cornish bakery in Dorchester and would absolutely recommend. The lady who served me was friendly and positive and could really tell she loved her job. I believe her name was Andrea…so thankyou!! Just sat down for a pastry and coffee..will be back again!
Excellent little bakery. Lovely coffee and fresh pastries. Excellent relaxing decor. Modern. Covered outdoor seating area. My personal favourite coffee shop in Dorchester. Not sure what the WiFi situation is though, I generally tether.
Great pastry shop with a modern twist, lovely food, friendly staff.
My partner and I visited the cafe a few days ago and the food was amazing, service was beyond-belief, she was kind, polite and very professional. We will definitely come back and would hope to see her there again.
This is good coffee - at least the one I had, I believe Union beans - possibly a dark roast - and this is of course the most important thing isn't it? So the coffee is on a par with the King's Arms a short distance away ( Mozzo red label dark roast beans with filtered softened water) Love the qualit
It's in a popular location and has a great modern interior and clever outside space with individual beach huts and a balcony. The food is lovely but the prices are high. I've always had to wait too long and sometimes people queue out the door. Atm they are training staff but I've not had the best co
Amazing trip to the cornish bakery today. Such friendly staff beth helped me and my boyfriend acquire pastries for the family. Amazing hospitality!! Will visit again!!
Visited this morning for a coffee and a pasty. Both superb and one of the best cups of coffee I have tasted for a long time
Stopped for a break during a journey from West Sussex to Cornwall. Never been to Dorchester before but was pleasantly surprised. The Cornish Bakery in Dorchester was one of the nicest I've been to. Lots of exposed stone walls making it feel warm and inviting. Plenty of spare seats and looked clean.
Lovely pastries, excellent coffee and dog friendly!
