Great pub , bit of a walk from the High street but worth it . Looks nice , friendly staff , courtyard out the back & good drinks , it's a shame I didn't have longer here but I had a rather tight schedule.

Fantastic. Lovely friendly pub, patrons, and staff, with great selection of real ales. Decor is absolutely top-notch, the beer garden is a very nice combination of patio and grassed area. Highly recommended!

Amazing pub that just runs on drink sales! Just like stepping back in time to when I was a teenager just starting to use pubs!! Nice atmosphere and nice couple who run it.

Lovely corner pub, good selection of beer. Do a tasting paddle for £3.50 if you'd like to try different beers.

A great local pub with a friendly atmosphere. Service was good. Let down by only 2 of 4 real ales being available and those 2 not being particularly good.

I'm not local but when I and some mates turned up to watch the rugby we were treated like locals! Staff couldn't do enough for us to get a table near the TV screen and adjacent to the bar! Fabulous little pub, wonderful atmosphere and a great selection of well kept session ales. Absolutely loved it!

Such a lovely welcome, first time I have been on and would certainly love to come back, really well kept beer, the lady with long brown hair behind the bar was so friendly and gave great service. Also one of the cleanest pubs I’ve ever been in you can really tell it’s looked after and cared for!

Delightful and very well kept traditional corner back street pub. Now a Marston pub but still managing to have a fairly wide selection of ales as the display of pump clips shows. Originally a bakers the original oven doors are still in place. Outside there is a small, tidy garden with fig tree and grapevine. There is also a covered seating area and a separate smoking area.

Gaz loves this place, basically its his front room and who can blame him? Lovely local pub, nice decor and a warm welcome, but be careful Gaz's card doesn't work in the machine, so an offer of a beer is a broken promise 😢
