Great coffee, lovely food, not a budget option, preferable to the usual high street coffee shops. My favourite almond croissant in town. Quite airy with large windows nearly all the way round, more cosy to the rear.

Return visit after over 5 years, on a short break. Spacious coffee shop with individual decor and comfortable seats. Great coffee, leaf tea and a very good range of pastries and cakes! Friendly staff. Only negative is the music- a bit loud for easy conversation.

Very good coffee here, and a nice selection of cakes with a good choice for vegans too 🌱I can highly recommend the super chocolatey brownie.

Had the flat white for £3.25. Rather expensive, but very enjoyable.

Much better second visit after lock down finished. The other shop I had used closed and searched for coffee 1. Clean, tidy with seating outside and in. They do everything the shops in Wales. Bought Welsh cakes to go with the tea. Amazing.

Had a coffee here on Friday morning at about 11am and there was a queue about 10 deep. I did stay to see why so popular but the barista threw me if I wanted my black Americana smooth or dark. She must have seen my surprise and explained the differences and I went for the dark as I do like it strong. It was worth the wait and the service was spot on and professionally efficient. I can see why all sorts come or meet here and there are some outdoor tables that I took advantage of in such a nice day. Inside was virtually full - so this business model surely works. Well done

Vibes I like the aura of the places, nice vibes, acoustics that whole thing. Usually find myself getting a mocha or something quick. Seating is nice/their general vibes good times all round.

Very friendly branch, despite a long queue did not take long to be served. I find #1 coffee tastes better than many other chains. Also appreciate reasonable number of vgn food options esp cakes, way more than Mr Starbucks. Better price too, wish there were a few more plug points though

Best coffee shop in Dorchester, can do work on laptop and not look out of place. Or just going for a coffee, caters all with the friendly atmosphere. Thank you

Must say, the bacon bap is sublime ! Great choice of bacon tk go in the good quality bap. Arrived piping hot and none of that thick fatty edge that blights a good bacon bap. Bloomin lovely start to the day 👍
