Such a fantastic country pub in a lovely location, with beautiful views! We stayed for 3 nights in September, the room was great, and the food was spot on. Loads of choice, local ingredients, and the Sunday roast was one of the best I’ve had. They had live music on Saturday night and gorgeous heated
Went there twice on short holiday in Dorset. First time just for a drink and to admire the views- the location is idyllic and the garden lovely. They have a good selection of local ciders and proper beers (Otter and Cerne Abbas). We went back for Sunday lunch. Lovely tender roast beef with Yorksh
Sunday roast. The quality of the roast was excellent, with seasonal vegetables and hot roast potatoes. The bar staff were friendly and helpful, and the food service staff smiled. The Sun shone and we ate out in the garden. Recommended.
A lovely pub in a majestic location. Enjoyed staying overnight in the campervan. The gardens are superb, as is the choice of local ciders and ales. The staff were very welcoming. The food was slightly basic and probably not great value for money (meze board for £25 could have done with a bit more br
An impromptu trip to this beautiful pub to enjoy the evening sunshine in their stoning garden for a drink, which turned into dinner. The staff were welcoming and the service excellent. We just had pizzas and chips (2 teen-agers with us). We loved coming here under the previous management and it is s
Fabulous few days away. The Spyway Inn is in glorious countryside about 3 miles from Bridport, and a 5-minute drive from the A35. The garden view is exceptional. The pub itself is full of nooks and crannies, set over 3 rooms. Louise and Dave looked after us wonderfully. We stayed in Eggardon Rest -
Came here twice, excellent for a drink ( Great selection of local ales and ciders) and came again for an evening 'sundowner'. Good music, food, service, and with a lovely view! A great gem of a pub in Dorset.
Spent a very pleasant evening at the Spyway. The setting is fabulous for a summer evening - glorious views from the garden. I've rated the rooms as 5 star although we didn't stay in them - the Spyway is part of the Brit Stops network so if you are signed up to it and have a camper/small motorhome (o
Excellent Sunday lunch, delicious food. Warm friendly welcome.

Interesting history and nice food. Great service by the owners.
Visited for dinner on Friday evening to meet a friend halfway. Lovely setting with great views and the exterior of the pub looked inviting and festive still with Christmas lights up. Cute small bar to the left that was toasty warm with a real fire. Landlady was welcoming and although dealing with
Went here a couple of days ago for lunch and had the liver, bacon and onions. Absolutely Delicious. It’s a large portion so if you’re thinking of any dessert then I would recommend getting the Mini portion of main course otherwise you can forget about having room for any dessert 🤣
Pulled off the A35 and found this hidden gem 5 mins from the main road... Liver and bacon (a favourite I don't cook) and fish and chips and a very warm welcome. Beautiful gardens. Stunning views. Great food.
Joined my sister and her partner for an evening meal, they know the area well and came across the Spyway Inn a few years back. I had the Halloumi kebabs they were yummy. The chaps had steak, cooked beautifully white sis had gluten free fish & chips. Very friendly hosts, can recommend a visit. Lovely
