I have wanted to try here for a while, as It was recommended by my butcher who told me they supply them their best steaks. I had also seen a social media post showing where they got the fish from which Is also the best, so I thought that shows they are serious about serving quality food and are worth supporting. I eventually visited for my birthday on a Saturday evening, we all had different things and everyone really enjoyed the food, the service was good and the price was reasonable. The only negative was that two of our first choices, the tbone and burger were off the menu, which was a bit disappointing as it was only early on a Saturday evening. All in all though we had a good night here and would recommend to give it a try.

Stunning Italian restaurant, in the city centre of Doncaster. Yes, a lot of places have pizza shops, and some places have pasta restaurants. But Da Leo is a genuine Italian Restaurant, offering a full menu of genuine cuisine of outstanding quality. An unusual layout given the corner plot location, this makes Da Leo a cosy-feeling dining experience yet easily accommodates family groups. The staff are welcome and friendly, as can be expected from a true family Italian restaurant. This was exemplified when staff paid special attention to the little ones in our party, paying compliments and offering to show them dishes they were interested in. A lovely experience that made us feel even more at home in this restaurant. Each dish is a generous portion of delicious cuisine, which means you don’t need to eat much during the day before going! You’ll be absolutely stuffed by the time you leave, but thankfully comfortably so, as staff well pace the courses so you don’t get overfaced. A brilliant gem of a restaurant that you should definitely try, especially as the prices are incredibly reasonable (some of them so cheap I don’t know how they do it)!

I had a meal with my family in this family run restaurant for the fist tim Friday 12th Nov. It was very quiet as it was early. This place is awesome. So clean. The waiting staff are on the ball but not in your face. We had a chat with them as they are all related. I can recommend the homemade tiramisu, it was divine.

I only came in for ice-cream (pistachio is amazing!) But the service was brilliant, went above and beyond and felt very welcomed.

Not a huge fan of Doncaster but this place is a real gem. Probably the best Calzone I've ever had, wife's Pepperoni looked amazing too. Gorgeous desserts and a nice Chianti. Top service too, would highly recommend.

Came on a really quiet lunch time for the first time and was a little worried about how quiet it was. But the food was brilliant! My friend had the lasagne which she said was amazing and insanely filling. I had the creamy sausage pasta which was lovely! Great quality ingredients and quick service. The only thing that was a negative was the fact they've stopped the lunch time deal and the two for one cocktail deal. So there's no deals now which sucks. Bring these back and we will return asap!

I strongly recommend visiting Da Leo. We had an excellent experience. We were served by Michael who was attentive and personable, he recommended dishes and was not wrong. Him and the head chef modified a dish to account for our parties dietary needs. This as not only helpful and delightfully welcoming, but incredibly tasty. Finally, the chilli oil is something else! 🌶️

Stopped in on our way through Doncaster because of the great reviews, and so glad that we did! Great service, and really delicious, authentic Italian food. The calzone with homemade tomato sauce was the best I've ever tasted. This restaurant understands how to make their customers very happy!
