Stumbled on this place while passing and needed a breakfast for the family so decided to stop. £6 for an all you can eat breakfast was pretty reasonable. Today's carvery was the best we've had. Both Pete the chef and other chef are friendly and give substantial amount. Absolutely delicious and plenty of it... in fact one of our diners had the full works and it actually beat him! Staff are always friendly and welcoming too.

Always a great selection of veggies. Not so much meat this time and no more apple sauce which is a shame. Still the best carvery around though. Pete the chef always serving the best.
Service was good. Chef Peter was very helpful and ensured my selections were perfect. Thanks you Green Tree team for making the experience great for a first time a very eater. No pictures- good was devoured.

This says it all. Clean plates all round, and even though the order got a bit mixed up, they couldn't have been more helpful to sort it out. Nice touch with the chefs coming out to chat to guests. The Mac n cheese was amazing!
Really lovely meal here today. We went for the midweek deal, which was brilliant value for money. Piping hot, very tasty, and friendly attentive staff. Pete the chef came over and checked on us several times, to make sure everything was OK.
As soon as we walked in we where greeted by a smiling young lady who swiftly showed us to our seats. All the staff where great throughout, the carvery was lovely well presented and a decent price too. My daughter had a pizza and she was very happy indeed with that it looked lovely.

We go here regularly and always enjoyed our meal. Very friendly and helpful staff. We take my elderly parents and the server on the carvery always has a chat with them and asks if they need help to carry meal to the table.
Fantastic service from the staff, as always. A special mention to Pete who always gives extra care and attention to us when we visit. Beautiful carvery, will always come back!
First visit to The Green Tree Inn, and will be definitely be returning soon. Plenty of parking spaces, including Blue Badge / Disabled. From the warm, friendly & helpful service of Bronia at the bar, to the happy, chatty, generous service from Pete the chef on the carvery - everyone was brilliant. D

From the moment we entered we were made to feel very welcome. We were greeted at the door and asked where we’d like to sit.
