Called for lunch and wasn't disappointed.The best fish and chips ever.Had the large Haddock and chips which was £9.50 and the fish was huge!!
Everything was cooked to perfection.Will definitely be back and highly recommended.
Bench seats are a bit small, and with the current layout I know you can't do much about that, but the cod was amongst some of the best we have had. Not disappointed by the 60 mile round trip !
Took my Dad for his birthday last Saturday. It was our first visit but won't be out last. Great atmosphere and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The food is amazing, fresh seaside fish and all perfectly cooked. We will be back as my Dad lives 10 minutes away. Great experience.
Food is excellent and staff are very friendly. If you do have any problems with food if you talk to staff they sort the problem out but you need to talk to them they are not mind readers. This is my go to fish and chip shop will never use any other . Keep up the good work guys we do appreciate the hard work.
We really enjoyed the fish, chips, and curry here. We ordered a large haddock with chips and curry. The haddock was crispy all around and tasted delightful. Each chip we had was crispy. The curry was smooth and delightful, it reminded me of a Japanese curry house called Coco's. We also had some tea, which was standard English chippy tea. There was dessert available,, but we were stuffed. Staff was very nice. Restaurant is small and cozy, maybe 7 tables, can comfortably seat about 15 people. Takeaway is right next door. Wait time was minimal. Toilet is available as well, did not use. We drove here from Lincoln and it was well worth the drive! We will definitely come back.
Intended to have take away but the restaurant was very inviting and well laid out with old wood panels and great light fixtures. But don't let me take my eye off the ball, after all we are here for fish (cod) and chips, and I can keep that really simple.... FABULOUS, and top marks for the curry sauce. Plus the staff were great too. My food photos show exactly what good fish and chips should look like.
1st visit. Had lunch special. Cod, chips, tea or coffee, slice bread n butter. The Cod was amazing. Thick and juicy (that's the only word I can use to describe it. Portion size good. No need for dessert. £6.50. I will be back for more.
I live quite a way from the Chippy, 35mins if I go proper way 50mins if I go scenic route (got lost actually). Went to butchers as well. Just told neighbour about it. 👍😋😋😋
Omg, went here last Friday after getting to our caravan and had fish bites, chips with curry and it was absolutely brilliant and yummy, you get loads for just £4.50.
We will definitely be going back again
YES ! YES ! YES ! YES ! YES ! The breakfast for £7.50 is excellent value for money and the tastiest that you will find anywhere (this is the large breakfast and it really is large). Proper sausages, proper sauce from the manufacturer's bottle, everything cooked to perfection, and a smashing cup o' tea ! The fish and chips is equally as awesome. You won't get a bad meal from Misterton Chippy, and the owners, Shane & Lisa, are real down to earth friendly sorts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! P.S. I did note one or two slightly unsatisfied reviews ... just tell the owners ... they will sort you out in the best possible way ! Lovely people :-)
The best fish n chips for miles n miles. Great portions, well priced and service with a smile. My grandchildren love the childrens fish meal deal, its baby bear porridge right 👍
Just been here whilst working in the area, chip butty and small battered sausage, has to be one of the best I’ve ever had, really good quality, great price, generous portion size and friendly staff!

I always buy fish and chip special, gorgeous. Cannot comment whether they cater for coeliacs as I have not had the need to ask, my son has never been with us when we visit, he needs Gluten Free.

Our family use the takeaway or dine in, lovely chips, fish, with a great curry sauce too compliment the meal, lovely desserts available with four full tummies. Affordable food and a popular chippy for locals and visitors. Lovely clean business with toilet available when dining in. We'd recommend with polite staff.

Never had such quick service. Friendly staff and excellent fish and chips. The batter was light and crispy, definitely going back. Other half said the tartar sauce could be better. I don't eat it so I'm no bothered lol
