Called in to watch 6 nations rugby. The owner very friendly made us welcome. The pub however was empty as was most of town centre.
First visit to Vintage Rock Bar, there was a mix of ages from late teens to 50's - DJ was playing a real mix of tunes and very willing to play requests. Prices were reasonable, staff were attentive and polite not always a given these days. The atmosphere was great and all the differing ages mixed am
Awesome venue for live music, the small stage and pit is great for intimate gigs, especially when you see a band that are gonna be massive and they're literally dripping sweat on you
Great place for a night out if you're into more alternative music. Even if the DJ thinks SOAD is too "heavy" for a request 😂 but I always have a good night here
Great little bar with a wide selection and drinks. Jukebox and the live music they put on are both great. The place has a great vibe to it and in a decent location close to taxi ranks etc. The bar staff are friendly and helpful/clued up about the drinks they serve also which is really good. The rest

Decent little place with some really nice folks. Sadly, every time I get a larger from the taps, it tastes off (bad luck on my part). Go for spirits and mixers and you will have an excellent night! Also Club Vile is worth a look in and I hear some awesome bands play there occasionally. Very friendly
