A great addition to lakeside. A touch of class with a great seating area quality decor and amazing food . Definitely one of my new places to visit more regular . A great bar area with great service. All tables have plenty of space and if you’re lucky enough you may get a spot next to the window looking across the lake . All tables have a personal touch lamp and the whole place is gently lit . The food is excellent particularly the pizza but there is a great choice of alternatives is pizza isn’t for you . Highly recommended. Prices are not cheap but fair. A must visit
Oooooooh- Ive been to Rome and this remains one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. Thin, perfectly burnt crust, fresh toppings, filling but so delicious you cant stop eating!
Nice music, nice decor, space between tables. Staff very friendly and patient. Also very clean, spacious clean toilets. And good parking out front.

When walking our doggies, we came across this pizzeria.
It's located underneath The Travelodge at Lakeside.
Which is very handy if you're staying there.
As we had our dogs with us,they found us a table on the terrace at the back of the restaurant.
Luckily, the evening weather was favourable, and there's a great view of the lake.
We were just going to have a couple of drinks, but the pizzas looked so good. We just had to get our order in quick. As the last orders for food are 9.30pm.
They serve Neopolitan style Pizzas.
Our order was the Salami Misti £14.95
Salami, pepperoni, prosciutto, roasted peppers, balsamic red onions & mozzarella on a tomato base.
Plus, a Nduja Aioli dip £1.50.
It was absolutely delicious and went nicely with the Poretti beers we had.
Finished off with some very nice Italian coffees.
The staff were lovely and friendly.
It's a very popular place, it seems,judging by how busy they were.
We shall have to return and try some of their extensive menu as they don't just do pizzas.

We had some delicious pizzas, a burger and risotto and everyone enjoyed their meal. We didn’t try any starters or deserts though. The wine was a little expensive. The staff were good and the lighting/ambiance was great. I was pleased the pizza was as good as it was when sampled in the wool market. We were the last ones out (not late) and we weren’t rushed which was appreciated. Georgia and Hannah looked after us very well.

Nice relaxed environment and food on a mod bust day including order taking and serving took approx 15-20 minutes.
Friday nights are great with live music and an amazing atmosphere our waitress was so kind and friendly

Pretty blown away, what an absolute hidden gem. The outside gives nothing away, but inside it is incredibly tasteful and modern. Service was impeccable, friendly and swift and the food was flawless. As someone who regularly travels to Italy for work, they are genuinely as good. 100% would recommend and will be returning.
The atmosphere and ambience in here was perfect. The view on the lake really complements the restaurant. Kitty our waitress was very helpful with our drinks orders and recommending which items on the menu she would recommend. She was brilliant all night - kind and attentive. 5 stars
Last minute decision to walk in to see if a table available. Staff were smiley and helpful. Found us a place. Nice atmosphere and warm too. Food and drink arrived in a good time. Meals were piping hot, served with a happy faced member of the team. Lasagna was excellent, my wife's pepperoni pizza really nice with a gentle paprika zing.
Drinks were a little expensive I thought, but good quality wine which I enjoyed....
Overall it was a pleasure to eat there, I'll definitely return.

Lovely warm welcomed from the waitress Kitty. My burger was very tasty and the rest of our party who had pizzas all enjoyed it as well. We were there early at 6pm, half way through our meal the place was full and the live singer all helped making it a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved dining at The Rustic Pizza before their soft launch. The view of the lake is stunning whether it's rainy and stormy or sunny it's so nice to be in this lovely restaurant and look out onto it. The food is amazing and I'm so happy we now have something of this calibre in Doncaster. Would definitely say it's comparable to Rudy's. Staff were wonderful and very attentive.
For drinks I had the pistachio iced latte. After a bit of mixing, it's so good!! I ended up having two.
I ordered the caprese salad which was a great portion and you could share it. The mozzarella had a great taste and texture to it. I loved that the balsamic is on the side because I hate when it's all over the food.
I also ordered a quattro formaggi pizza and the chili honey and garlic aioli dip with a side of oregano fries. You can choose to have your pizza sliced or unsliced. I went for unsliced and they provide you with a pizza knife to cut it if you do.
The pizza was perfectly done. The chili honey was so good and had a really strong honey flavour and the garlic aioli was also great.
Afterwards I had a look at their gelato and ordered dulce de leche and pistachio. Both were yummy but the pistachio was amazing and I would 100% get it again.
What a lovely place. I've been here twice so far and had a great time on both occasions. Regarding the food. It is excellent. The first time, I had the bruschetta and pizza. I liked the bruschetta, but I didn't love it. It was very rich for me. The pizza was nice but could've been crispier. The second time, I had the burger. This was excellent. I have no issue with the food as it's mainly personal taste; however, I do feel the chef puts a lot of effort in. The service from the staff is excellent also. What a refreshing change.
Called in for breakfast this morning. Excellent food and fantastic service, Dog friendly when seated outside & Enjoying the view water provided for pets also dog friendly ice cream for sale.
Certainly going to try in the evening,good selection of wine / drinks/ cocktails. Would highly recomend, lovely location.
