Overall it's a decent buffet.
The huge selection of buffet options and very nice staff makes up for the average food.
The garlic prawns cooked to order at the teppanyaki station were my favourite savory dish. Dim sum was pretty bad, crispy duck was very dry. There's definitely enough decent dishes for a good meal though.
Desserts were good, enjoyed the panna cotta, Eton mess, ice cream and chocolate fountain.
Blue light discount handy too which takes it down to £18 for dinner.
Fantastic experience. Had more variety than my regular in Sheffield. The ambience was serene and the wait staff were polite and friendly.
Loved this place. Even the most fussy eaters will find something to enjoy here. So worth the money. My son, partner and I went here last week. Fast service with drinks. I had at least 4 different dishes. My son loved the chocolate fountain and all the desserts. Think it came to around £60 for all 3 of us including drinks. Everything was fresh. Looking forward to going there again.
Cosmo is a all you can eat style restaurant with foods from all around the world.
The dishes all seem to be fresh and rotated quickly due to the restaurant being quite busy.
There are a good selection of dishes that cater for all.
They also have a nice desert collection and bottom less soft drinks.
This is a great restaurant for somebody with a hearty appetite as you never leave this restaurant hungry.
Turned up today, we didn't book. If you don't book you need to pay before you eat (not an issue but server made it abit awkward) food was the standard quality nothing special but expected at an all you can eat. We took 2 kids with us one with allergies and it was easy to point out what he couldn't have. A good variety of food. The food wasn't very hot and quite alot of the dishes had ran out/very low which were not replaced during our visit which was abit rubbish as was the pasta dishes that kids love. Servers were all polite and friendly especially with the kids. Thanks. Will visit again but not sure when.
Food was beautiful, so much to choose from. Nice calm atmosphere too, staff are very attentive. My son has a peanut allergy and it's handy to have allergen information next to every single dish.
Came here for my daughters birthday. She enjoyed it. Place is run very well. Staff are excellent. Just can't see why prices differ from lunch to evening. Only reason can think of is because of staff working late evening so you'd think staff there get paid a little more for working the evening shift. Because food is no different from lunch to the evening sitting. Only difference is you get one guy cooking average steak and what ever else in the evening sitting. So don't waste your money paying extra for the evening sitting because there's No different from the lunch sitting. Plus after plates of food you've probably had everything. Limited food to choose from.
Took my kids for the first time on Saturday and they both loved it and so did I for my second time visiting, food was always hot and being refilled, great selection even on deserts, the refillable soft drinks are a winner.
Pricing not too bad either and the even accept blue light discount card.
Can't really say a bad word about the place
We pre booked a table for 8 as we have some picky eaters. We were seated, but the table wasn't ready (tables not wiped or cutlery available). We would have rather waited until the table was ready to sit. We did have to ask someone to order our drinks, but they did apologise. The food was OK given the style and as it is a buffet style to variety was vast. It did get very busy and you could see that staff were rushed off their feet. Overall we enjoyed it and so did the kids
Bursting with choice, lots of seating, tasty food, pretty clean, menus dirty and tables smeared even though we were first in, aesthetically pleasing, buffet regularly topped up, value for money, unlimited soft drinks available, suitable for groups of all sizes, parking available in the French gate centre. The system of having customers with reservations queuing on one side and walk-in customers on the other doesn't feel like the best. Walk-in customers are ignored and it's awkward, seating wasn't offered while we waited. Walk-ins also have to pay on arrival rather than after they have eaten and you are automatically charged a service fee which I feel is completely inappropriate because it's impossible to know if you will have good service when you have only just arrived! As a walk in you are definitely made to feel 2nd class. Reservations were taken in 1 at a time when there is plenty of staff to seat many at once. We were allowed a booth as long as we were gone by the time it was reserved which we appreciated. The waiter didn't speak very clearly when seating us and his English was a little broken, I asked for forks and he was quite snappy with his response, saying he had just said he would get some, but the tables should have been laid already and if he was speaking slower and clearer we would have understood.
I love this restaurant! So many food choices. I do recommend reserving before you go.
It's quite busy on a weekend just to be aware.
Food is really good and there is so many choices and as much as you want to eat.
The restaurant it self is very busy speciale in weekends. The waiting time to get in is between 10 minutes to half hour. It is advised to pre book the table on phone or online Is better to be a bit early the the booking. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was a bit slow . Prices are decent. We celebrated a friend birthday. We had a good time.
Love this place ever once been and had bad food. Staff always on hand to help but do leave you to eat your meal in peace. Their always fresh hot food ready. Look that you can see the chefs doing the cooking and they will help you with what ever they can. It's a lovely place for just couples are all the family
We've been before and it was definitely a place of quantity over quality however this time was a little different.
The quality of the dishes and selection had improved - having dim sum of good taste, char Sui, better than supermarket sushi and the live cooking makes the price actually quite reasonable.
Also, Simon wasn't our main server but was just such a pleasant person let alone a polite staff member. Seriously nice guy.
Good improvement. Pleasant staff. Great place to satisfy a craving.
Enjoyed majority of the dishes on offer. Some was a bit dry and overcooked but you can't expect everything to be perfect at this style of restaurant. Overall good value and excellent service.
