A truly outstanding cafe!!! Excellent service from some delightful ladies. The bacon sarnie was the best I have ever had at a fishing pond cafe and the blended tea was delicious. The ladies who run the cafe were friendly and helpful. The five star rating I have given them is well deserved. Thank you Cheryl, Anne, Gran & the young lady who was serving at the counter. I look forward to calling in again.
Had a lovely afternoon tea here today, the sandwiches were my fav... the bread was very fresh and soft, I couldn't eat it all so I fetched a doggy bag home with me. Cute and quaint little place next to a pretty fishing lake, will be lovely in the warmer weather and the staff service was amazing. Thank you very much <3 xx.

Whenever I just fancy a coffee, I can pop round in my slippers!!! And I often do just that!! Rachel never bats an eyelid. Beautiful quaint little tea-room. Thanks for looking after the 12 of us on Saturday, even if we were a wee bit noisy. Here's to the next time xxx

The jacket potato was delish.cheese and coleslaw. Not sure if you do gluten free as I'm a ceoliac but the jacket was lovely.

Fab, fab, fab! Fab place, fab food and fab service! Highly recommend 😉
We came for lunch on the recommendation of friends and it did not disappoint! It was a busy lunch service and we managed to get a table without booking.
It has a lovely atmosphere and loved the decor. We made our choices and the teas/coffees came quickly. The teas were served in china cups!
The food was delicious and fresh. We also had room for cakes/tarts!!
Will definitely return for afternoon tea in the future!!
Great friendly atmosphere, excellent service. Breakfast is spot on, good choice of teas & coffee's. Wonderful cake selection.
What a lovely little cafe with the most amazing food.. and even better cakes! Going from Alison and to the other girls who work their hardest to deliver the best visit for you! I do definitely recommend! Can’t wait to visit again to try the lunch time menu!😋😋
Thank you all at Dainty Doris for being the best!
First time at Dainty Doris, really wonderful staff and nice atmosphere. Food and drink were 10/10 couldn’t recommend more !
Dainty Doris is one of my favourite places! I love all their homemade delights, especially the Manchester Tart!
I've not reviewed before but really felt I should this time.
I was there yesterday at their first LIVE music event "Tea, tunes & cakes". It was a wonderful afternoon with great music, complimented by fantastic homemade food, a great choice of drinks and very attentive staff who couldn't do enough to help.
I can't wait for their next LIVE music event in July, and look forward to whatever future events that they might host. DD is certainly worth a vist anytime!!
Thank you Team Doris Xx
The Brownies are to die for!! Best I've tasted in quite a while. The Crunchy Square was also delicious. Service was excellent, very friendly. Worth travelling the 400 mile round trip!
A quaint place, which was reasonably busy. This was our first visit.
We were in the area, neeeeded a Coffee (and we're Caffeine free), so did a Google search, and this came up.
I had Welsh Rarebit, Ar Lass a Ham Sandwich. Both with homemade Coleslaw.
The Slaw in itself is quite interesting,
Well worth a visit if'n you are in the area
One of the nicest breakfasts we've had in Donny. Lovely thick cut bacon, proper sausages, eggs poached perfectly. Great staff really cute spot
Best yet afternoon tea we’ve had 👍 very friendly staff, great location and super food, really liked the mini trifles in glasses, I can’t recommend this highly enough.
Fabulous experience and lovely place to visit. The afternoon tea is a must do. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Good prices and the homemade cakes are a must try to take away with you
