Called in for lunch today having never visited before. Would definitely recommend this place food was fantastic, proper home made food served really quickly and with a smile. Without a doubt we will be returning.

Just had a classic beef burger meal as part of the two for £10.49 and I couldn’t fault it. Lovely brioche bun and fresh salad on the burger and nice chips with a tomato dip on the side.
Served by sandy who was friendly and helpful.
My son had a kids burger meal with ice cream for £3.99 and again it was good value. We will definitely return.
Had a birthday do yesterday,and been on 2 previous occasions same brilliant staff,food,drink.Highly recommend this place.
Lovely friendly calm atmosphere, food was amazing and the place looked much better inside now it’s been redone. Staff was on top form and food was quick and delicious.
Had my Sunday lunch here today n I have to say it was THE best I've eaten whilst out! Yes I'm staff, but I have to give the kitchen staff their due, it was gorgeous! 10/10 guys �

Fantastic lunch, very well presented superb value for money and of a very high quality .
Starters were all well received and we were given a lovely break in between the starter and the main course of about 45 minutes which was lovely being Christmas Day after-all
Main courses all excellent with vegetables cooked to perfection
Desserts again came within a nice time allowing for drinks and chatting around the table
Cannot fault the staff or management from bar to restaurant and kitchen highly recommended by us all
Just eaten Sunday lunch here and had the beef duo, absolutely stunning. Compliments to the chef. First time visiting since it’s been done out and all changed, done it out well so much better. Think I’ll be calling every Sunday now ���
Second time here for Sunday lunch with the family and second time it's been sheer perfection! Highly recommended! The cauliflower cheese is the best around and the braised red cabbage is just amazing! ���

As this was a funeral 'wake ', I gave it a 5star for atmosphere purely because we were in a separate part of the main 'pub' area so it felt very private and the locals/staff and or even people just going out for dinner were all very respectful and kept to a distance.
The food that was provided was to a fantastic standard. The hot food was hot (🤷♂️) and the salad was fresh and clean. A very nice presentation and plenty of it.
From.local word of mouth, this place is good for all different occasions, there is also a choice of room size for the smaller gatherings if required.
Lots of easy free parking space on site. It is also on a bus route if needed.
Overall, top scores all round. I would definitely recommend 👌 👍
Good location offering good food and a great range of drinks. Inside, it's split into a sports bar section, casual section with comfy sofas and chairs and a more traditional dining section. The outside space also huge and welcoming. Cracking place.
Myself and my fiance stopped here for a spot of lunch. The pub was quiet when we walked in but it was only just gone 12 noon. The menu was extensive with all of the usual pub classics and a few different dishes.
The meal wasn't anything special and for the price was acceptable. There is plenty of parking, outdoor seating and a smoking area. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of beverages and I would recommend a visit if you are looking for a meal in a relaxing atmosphere.

The separate areas indoors and out doors, spacious, great for kids, big restaurant, smaller bar area if you want to watch sport on tele, large undercover area with festoon lighting, massive garden, kids chalkboards, climbing frame, mud kitchen, even a little scooter track! And the food was absolutely delicious, and I thought it was VERY reasonably priced. I will return with the family, well worth the travel time.
Absolutely amazing pub. Seen it be built up really well. Got married at church and had my wedding reception here after in the function room. They did really well Me my husband and daughter love it here. Foods amazing.
Recently came here for lunch on Christmas Eve to have a catch-up with a friend. The food was and up to standard as compared to other chain pubs. Service was good, would visit again and recommend if you are looking for somewhere local to get some pub-grub. I booked online via their website and it was straight-forward, stress free.
Needed a pub that would accommodate a puppy and large group so gave here a go.

Really enjoyed it. The Sunday lunches were a good size. Nobody rushed us even though the booking said 1.5 hrs and the service was very good.

We utilised the special 50% off the full bill offer this week and both had rump steak. The whole meal was amazing and cooked beautifully. The steak was so thick and free from fat it was more like a piece of fillet !

2 rump steak meals, garlic bread. 2 x pepper sauces and a nachos start to share...£18 (after 50% disxount). We unfortunately didn't realise to open the tab first snd pay for meal and drinks together, so we paid full for the drinks but cant complain at £18 for two steaks and sides.
Today we held mums wake here, and from the booking to today nothing was too much trouble for them, excellent service and the buffet was the best I've ever had, will definitely visit again but under happier circumstances
