Been here several times and have always received great food and service at a good price. Even came with some fussy eaters who are very particular about their food and they loved it. I thoroughly recommend dining here.
amazing me and partner came tonight without booking a table the staff were friendly and the credit goes to the chef's those guys are a credit to zest bar, even though i was eating i was also watching the expertise of the kitchen staff, the chefs were amazing, first time me and my partner came today and we will be definately coming back !!! once again thankyou chefs for the amazing food....please pass on my comments to the chefs

It was very busy, a good sign! We had a large party and did wait a long time for the food. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The food was very tasty and we're generous portions

I walked in with a handfull of stuff for my daughters 21st dinner. Mary, who was great, spotted me and opened the door for me.
Mary took all my stuff and kept them round the back till my table was ready as i was early.
Nearing booking time Mary put all the stuff out on the table and kept the cake out the back for later.
We stayed for ages. Prob too long but no qualms from staff.
I prompted Mary for the cake to be brought out and she sang happy birthday, as we all did.
The food was great as always and the staff were great too. Thank you. Really enjoyed it.
We are regular visitors and each time without fail we get seated quickly, the food is always delicious and (on the occasions we are child free) the cocktails are some of the best in Doncaster. When we are with are little girl we never feel any less welcome though. There's a reason we return so often.
Visited for the husbands birthday with 6 of our friends. Been a long time since I lasted visited, happy to say I wasn’t disappointed the atmosphere, service and food where all amazing. Hubby is very fussy with meat but tried the mixed skewer and he was over the moon didn’t realise how good some of it could taste �. Thank you for a great evening we’ll be back x

I met a friend at Zest for a lunchtime catch up.I love the fact that you do not get a waitress breathing down your neck to make your choice,instead you just ring the bell on your table when you are ready to order.As it was a warm day we both chose salad and they were fresh plentiful and delicious.I have eaten here before on several occasions with various friends and the food and service has always been impeccable.It is best to go for about 12noon for lunch as it usually fills up very quickly
after that. the food is very good and reasonably priced and it is well worth a visit.
A 5* Dining Experience. Let me start off by saying that Zest Bar and Grill is by far the best dining experience that I can ever remember. The restaurant was packed, but this did not stop the lovely manager, Khan, from seating us at the bar and entertaining us whilst we waited for a table to become avaliable. We started off by ordering two cocktails: one Mojito and a Long Island Iced Tea. They were fantastic!
For food, we ordered Garlic Lemon Scallops and Grilled Halloumi as starters, and for the main course, a Vino Steak Burger with chips and Chicken Penne Pasta. The portions were incredibly generous; definitely a value for money experience!
I'll definitely be returning to Zest in the near future. Highly recommended!

Best Restraunt in Doncaster.. Saying the Title, i don't really eat in Doncaster. Mainly because there aren't any nice placed to eat! Went here last night for a double birthday meal. Both Birthday girls got a 3course meal for free, which i think is amazing! The restraunt looks absolutely gorgeous inside, Fancy dining plates & glasses, the service is great. They have a buzzer on your table so you don't have to spend time getting attention from the waitresses who always come up to you with a smile happy to help. There was a party of 25 of us and all got our meals quickly. The meals are roughly £15 each but with most places it isn't worth paying that price, here is! The food come out in HUGE portions. I ordered Double Breasted Medium Piri Piri chicken which i thought was going to come out as a butterfly chicken. It didn't...it came out as two gorgously cooked HUGE chicken breast. I was struggling to get through the second. It tasted delicious and well worth the money. A few of my friends ordered the Mixed Kebab which came out HUGE and they said was absolutely appetite filling and no fat what so ever. Another friend ordered Chicken & Steak combo Fajita which didn't come with Chips, and found out why. Because you get around 8 flatbreads and the steak and chicken portion again is HUGE with no fat what so ever, he usually has an apetite of a warrior but was struggling to eat the chips at the end. I would definitely go again. Best quality meats, service and presentation!
Always a good bet. I've been to zest several times now and never been disappointed. I've tried their chicken ciabattas, pastas and traditional salads which have always been a high standard. The interior is modern and attractive and caters for larger parties with long tables and couples with intimate moods and window seats where you can relax and watch the world go by.
One evening we decided on the spur of the moment to go there for tea. They had a couple of large parties in and didn't have a table straight away, however they seated us at the bar and kept us up to date of an available table. We like that the tables all have service buttons on them so you dont have the awkward task of trying to attract the attention of a waiter/waitress. I recommend the chicken caesar salad which are really fresh for a lunch sitting and a pasta dish for evening. All very high standards.
Can be lovely. Very nice, lovely atmosphere. I reccomend the rib starter.
Zest. When we came for the meal on my brthday the food was beautiful however when we requested some greek yoghurt to have with out main course we were told no and had to complain before we got some. The waitreses were not very helpfull after this and as you serve greek food it is nice to have greek yoghurt with our meal instead of any other sauce. However it has not put us off as we have been since and enoyed the food alot and plan to return again
This is a really nice restaurant friendly service and excellent food and it's not too expensive either great for that romantic night out

Fantastic! A breath of fresh air in Doncaster. Eaten here several times now and never a bad experience. Menu is great as is service, facilities, and location. A great start to a night out, celebration, or light lunch. My favorite restaraunt in Doncaster!
Very nice the mixed skewer is huge but you just have to eat it all abs the veg musaka if you like lamb this is the. Place for you
I had a really good meal,the Chicken piri piri,and the Pene pasta with sun ripened tomato cream sauce was to die for !! We finnished with the Tirimisu & creme brûlée , I'm glad I left sum room both were superb.the interior is very clean and polished, lots of glass and chrome.a nice touch are the flight attendant style waitress buzzers,we were very well looked after, the nicest in Doncaster so friendly and fast service.I would defintley recomend 4 a romantic nite out,u can even sit out doors a la fresco , and watch the world go by .9 outta 10.
Managed to squeeze a party of 8 in, nice friendly staff,enjoyable food. Could maybe do with automatic door closing or people closing it after thereselves
On my birthday, I went to Zest Bar & Grill. Every time I come here, I get excellent service, delicious food and always a nice atmosphere. I think the business is running well, which is very good. I would highly recommend this place.
We opted for Zest as a last minute change to plan, I hadnt eaten here since before the pandemic and they didnt disappoint. The food was really good, portion sizes were more generous then I remember them being which was an added bonus. We didn't have to wait long for starters or mains and everything was cooked perfectly. It was my sisters birthday and she had ID so her meal was deducted from the final bill which was a nice touch. We will be back for future birthday celebrations. The only negatives are that the desserts are quite expensive that put us off ordering and the starters menu seemed quite small too.
Super fresh and lush cuisine fit for all Occasions. I always stop to catch the freshness of the spices! Amazing!!! The dressing of the Cesar salad is oscar winning! And the price is just so affordable! Super friendly stuff. This place stole my heart.Love it ❤️
First time visiting Zest and we will definitely be back! The food was lovely, very fresh. Could see through into the kitchen and how clean it was. All the staff were very welcoming and the service was fantastic! Reasonable prices for both food and drink.

I had the chicken penne pasta with additional garlic flatbread. My daughter had a burger. Was tasty and a pleasant atmosphere.
We went for a Sunday dinner and the food was amazing. It was fast services too and the staff was very friendly.
This place hasn't changed much over the years, the food is nice. But the menu and the venue need a little updating now. But I would recommend this place for a meal.

Only negative was the cheddar burger sounded nice but was in fact just a cheese slice for an extra 40 pence.
Food was superb, and portions were quite generous. My chicken wing starters could have been a main. The only minor complaint I'd have is that there was only a small bit of tatziki buried in the side salad, so a little tricky to get it on the lamb.
Visited whilst on a work trip, dined alone on a quiet Monday evening, service was brilliant, food was lovely, portion size was generous for the price.

Best food I've had out in ages! Absolutely beautiful. Was a busy Saturday evening, buzzing atmosphere. Staff very friendly and attentive. Even though had time limit of 90mins at table, didn’t feel rushed and food was served in good time after texting the order through at table. One of my new favourite places to go!

Lovely staff that welcomed you with a smile explained the menu. Food was delicious, well presented and reasonably priced. Will be back the next time we are in Doncaster.
Not been for a few years food was perfect although this place is a few years old now its maintained to a very high standard still look great.
My only gripe is no heating it was a tad cool inside but I do understand business like this is finding it hard to survive thus cutting back.
