I visited the Marketplace Alehouse & Deli yesterday with a friend. We enjoyed a delicious sharing platter along with a Tuna salad. I must say the service was excellent and top marks to the most pleasant staff who served us. I would recommend you visit this place because I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

We have visited this place on about 3 occasions now, eaten there twice, and found it to be an absolute hidden treasure in Doncasters crown, the ambience is fab, the food is even better, we intend to make our visits here most Saturdays, for a bite to eat, grab a glass of wine, or choose from the many many beers on the rack. We absolutely love it.

Fabulous place, great vibe, exceptional food we had the German and Mediterranean boards both large and demolished them, not a morsel left. Had lovely elderflower gin, mint vodka, cider brandy and wonderful real ale. I highly recommend you eat here and support one of Donny's unique independent ventures. It will not disappoint.

Great food! Super tastey, lovely presentation & atmosphere! Nice beers on and good spirits. Came with my family who can be fussy eaters, the menu had a good range of stuff so everyone was happy and the staff were very accommodating.

We had a beautiful Baguette with beery gammon, cheddar and chutney with salad. It was so nice and well worth the money. It was my 1st time here but will be coming again.

Best place in Doncaster for beer (the fruity beers are more to my taste and they have plenty of these). Great food and great staff too! I always order the German board, there's also a range of specials and a tapas menu ranging from £3 to £7! What more do you need?

It's a lovely spotless, little pub. With amazing beers and lagers. The food always looks gorgeous. But I've never had the chance to eat there

Madge brought me to see the market place. There is a large indoor market with lots of additional stalls spread about outside. One of the best UK markets we have been to. As you would hope there are plenty of pubs and bars around the market. ( Traditional to get drunk on market days!) Spotted this ale house selling five real ales. Madge ordered a half from Welbeck brewery. Red Feather 3.9%. A good beer. As usual the " coming soon" list has beers from breweries new to me. Nice interior and outside seating in front. Perfect on a cloudy summer day.

2020 Covid review Opening hours seem stale now. There's hand sanitise on the way in. No wifi. You can message them by Facebook to reserve a table. They have only 4 taps of real ales but no bottle any more. Expensive for Donny, 1.80 a half or 3.60 a pint. Old review Lovely place with 10 taps and loads of bottles. Prices are expensive for Doncaster but there is plenty of choice

The sharing platter was simple but good. 5 interesting cask ales on tap, and the wheat beer we had was in good order.

Cannot fault the amazing experience. Was down on a work course for the week and couldn't find a more relaxed and great place to have a drink. Apologies I didn't get the chaps name behind the bar, but you've done an absolute fantastic job. A brilliant establishment. If I'm ever back in Doncaster I'll be popping back. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Perhaps the most beautiful and interestingly designed small real ale pub I've been in, and there have been many! Late Sunday afternoon it was very quiet, just a few others plus me. Soon got into conversation though and found two persons very happy to extol the virtues of drinking in the M.P. Stuart poured excellent beers. Couple of those and unfortunately it was time to leave. Will be back if in the area.
