Eaten there a few times now and have never been disappointed. Always polite and friendly staff with food to die for!!!!

Staff are always super friendly and welcoming and the service was pukka.
Food tasted great, cooked to perfection and my desert coffee ☕ and lemon drizzle cake 🍰 was yummy!
Parking 🅿️ available on surrounding streets.
Wheelchair access ♿ looked ok, but as it's an old building and the door widths looks tight I would suggest checking before arriving.
Toilets 🚻 were nice and clean 🫧

Love this restaurant, staff always friendly, good atmosphere & fantastic food
First visit to Vivo and we loved it. Small and traditionally decorated, full of atmosphere and a warm friendly service. (Hi Dan!) The menu has a good choice from pasta and pizza to meat and fish dishes with some interesting specials. Husband had tiger prawn starter and I had creamy garlic mushrooms. Both were lush. Mains was seabass in white wine sauce finished with prawns and husband had fillet steak. Both dishes came with lovely side order of roast potatoes and braised vegetables. Finished off sharing a tiramisu (home made and gorgeous). Lavassa coffee excellent. A busy Saturday night with a birthday party, but service was prompt and nothing too much trouble. We will be back and recommend to friends and family. A little way out of the centre of Doncaster in Bennetthorpe but well worth the trip.
Genuinely the best Italian meal I've had in a long time. I never leave reviews but felt that our overall experience was that good I had to. We will be back 100%

The place has a very homely feel to it, especially the entrance.
The place is nicely decorated up for Christmas and Christmas songs playing.
The first thing I had was the starter; Crocchet Di Mozzarella for £7.20
It's a Deep fried Buffalo Mozzarella in bread crumbs, served with a tomato sauce and garnish.
At first I was kinda judging how it will taste on looks, but I was expecting a small portion, but definitely bigger than what I was expecting.
I'd say this is just right but still probably not enough for the price.
It was lovely and I certainly made a good choice, will 100% have this every time.
For my main I had Filetto Al Pepe for £23.90
It's a Fillet of beef served in a creamy peppercorn sauce with brandy and a hint of garlic.
It comes with some veg on the side and I had orderd a side of chips for £3.
The beef was about the same size as my starter which I wasn't expecting, it was cooked to my taste, 'medium to well done'.
Probably the best peppercorn sauce I've had, all the flavour with less of the spices.
The kids had double chocolate cake, there's quite a few afters to choose from and they all look so lovely
When asking for the bill, adults got a complimentary shot, kids got lollys... Except me, I got a lolly for some reason so the driver someone else gave me theirs.
Overall lovely food, homely setting but it's an expensive hour.

Found this gem whilst away on business. I have been fortunate enough to have eaten in a ton of Italian restaurants throughout the UK and I can honestly say the food at Vivo Doncaster was incredible, the best I have ever tasted.
Not only was the food amazing but the hospitality was first class with the owner/head chef even taking a few minutes to sit and talk with me with the restaurant very busy.

2024 update: Returned after a while as not local and had the best sirloin steak I've had this year...tasty and perfectly cooked to order.
Previously: Really enjoyed the welcome, drinks served while you wait for a table etc . I had a Bruschetta starter and a freshly cooked Tagliatelle 'dish of the day' ... lovely taste for both. Service was attentive.
First visit for a few years. We came back especially for the restaurant and it's just as good.

Had mozerella and ribs for starters. They were both great!! The ribs had no bone on and fell to pieces!! Had a steak for the maon which was cooked to perfection. Very nice old skool feel to the venue and highly recommended!!
