Sat in the beer garden on a summer night,that’s rare, served delicious food to a party of 9 with two dogs, lovely attentive staff food beautifully cooked and we thought served very quickly and cheerfully an unplanned visit thoroughly enjoyed one of Scotland’s hidden treasures we will be back.
This is a great institution. Relaxing atmosphere, awesome staff, great own brews that were cracking, and a simple but well executed food menu. I enjoyed every moment, and i would be coming here every time i visit the area.
Lovely place meals fabulous. Good atmosphere relaxing. No loud music. Recommend.

We happened to come across this place today. The food was lovely.. nice to see wee places that do homemade food. Portions were big and prices great... Will defo be back
Welcoming atmosphere, great comfortable seating , enabling us to have a lovely family meal , just like the advert outside kids welcome. , and the meals were fab and quick service and extremely enjoyed coming here for 5th time ! And will do as soon as in area again :)
Popped in on Sunday when passing for Sunday lunch. Excellent service from friendly staff who work well as a team. Food wad really good with massive servings.. excellent and good choice of beers.. well done.. a great find.
Stopped on the way back from St Andrews to Menstrie. We were really pleased with the service, friendliness of staff and the food. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely eat there again.

A lovely friendly pub.
Stopped in for lunch while wandering the countryside. The young man behind the bar was very friendly and helpful. They had fine beer and even a couple of vegan options. Great stop!
Staying near Crook of Devon and decided a round walk route with a pub lunch stop. The Inn had good reviews so off we went. Easily found a table as it was midweek and although the menu was limited there was still plenty choice.
Chose Steak pie which is what all pubs will be judged on, fish and chips with a couple of pints. Good food, and quick service.
Would recommend for anyone having lunch or dinner in the area.
We carried on and completed our 9.5 mile walk and glad we made the trip.
1st visit. Nice pub - not a huge menu like some places - we had filmed baguettes which were well filled and tasty. Other meals we saw coming out looked really good. Young guy who served us was very friendly and helpful. Definitely return to try some hot food.
Great menu with lots of options. Delicious Devon Ales served here, but don't be confused. Devon Ales comes from Sauchie just down the road and not... Devon! Friendly staff, food tasty and a decent portion. Look forward to coming back.

I've been going here for decades. The loveliest country pub with the best food, best atmosphere and very kind lovliest staff. My favourite country pub ever. Thankyou, I hope you never change as this pub is perfect!
Lovely wee village pub. Quaint surroundings. Service and food were excellent. It's a limited menu but it really is all well cooked and presented. Definitely be back.
