I've been in a couple of times before, however, this time, the owner managed to take us on a VERY short notice booking for 6 at a really great time for us too! He was the perfect host! Engaging and happy, he was chatting with not only my wife and I, but our 4 kids too. The food was absolutely exquisite, pizzettes of various toppings, awesome burgers, gingerbread ice cream!!!! But my Prime Scots fillet of beef with truffle chips was simply outstanding! Cooked to my specific 'rare side of blu!' Delicious! I would recommend BSK to anyone, and will definitely return when my foodie sister visits from London! Great atmosphere, great food, great host!

Fitted us in last minute for dinner. We had the antipasti sharing platter to start-mackrel pate was soooo good. Mussels and fries for me and steak and fries for other half, cooked perfectly. Great service, can't wait to come back soon x

Where to start? The wine probably. Good selection of house wines and full bottles with very reasonable markup. The food? Exceptional. Cannot fault it, a very wide selection to suit all palates. Fresh, Light and the right sized plates to enjoy 3 courses. Staff are attentive and confident in the food and service they are providing and are also keen to listen to feedback. All in all, if there was a reason to visit Dollar, you should stay all day for dinne, its worth the wait. Can only say thank you to the Chef, Owners and Staff for a throughly enjoyable dining experience. We will be back without hesitation. Great effort, keep it up!

Fab find happened upon by chance, lovely decor & made to feel welcome. Starters & mains were very tasty, coleslaw was a treat which needs a special mention. Was not a fan of the cheesecake, and if we return will sit somewhere else, as the cold draught made it uncomfortable at times.

Popped in while out for a Sunday drive. Relaxed atmosphere, great host, casual industrial style decor. Main event; the food. We both opted for one of the daily specials; Spiced haggis, sausage and black pudding hash with poached eggs and toast. Absolutely delicious. Best brunch dish we've had in ages! Highly recommend!

Lovely gem of a place. We stopped by on a dreach Saturday afternoon in January with our four legged friend and had a lovely coffee, haggis pizzatte, and chicken harrisa wrap. Would love to come back some time and try their evening restaurant food

Nice decor, attentive staff and yummy food. I had the Chowder which was lovely. Steak ciabatta was maybe slightly over cooked but depends on your personal preference. Would recommend.

Good starter and sweet (pate, cheescake) flanking superb main course (scallops and pork belly). Have I had a better meal? Perhaps at the Bosporus Hilton - few others. All at Paris-style outside tables, warmed by IR lamps. Just great.

Excellent service and a good selection on the menu as well as the Specials board. Thoroughly enjoyed their ‘3 cheese rarebit’ creamy texture full of flavour rounded off with some very tasty bacon. Good coffee to finish!
