Visit here one Wednesday lunchtime in August 2023 for a couple of drinks after our little walks. And went back Thursday evening for some food and more drinks.
Pizzas were delicious so were the wings.
Very helpful staff. Very good atmosphere.

We have had the best experiences at the stag, brilliant food, great beer selection and lovely atmosphere. Our dog loves it and is always made welcome. Definitely recommend the goats cheese and caramelised onion pizza, and the wings are to die for! Very glad to have a local pub of this standard so close to us!
Amazing pizza for reasonable prices. Good pub atmosphere, and a great place to unwind for beer and food. Service was 10/10.

A super cool and friendly pub with excellent beer selection. Really superb handmade pizza (with some funky toppings, and lots of veggie options too). Garlic bread is to die for (possibly from garlic butter clogged arteries).

Favourite pub in Dolgellau. Really friendly staff, good selection of well kept ales from keg and cask, and probably the most dog friendly pub I’ve visited. The food menu is small but perfectly formed with pizzas and other sundries freshly cooked from the wood fired oven out back. Also benefits from a sunny beer garden. What more could you want from a pub!
Great place to drink a pint and have some good food.
They got a large variety of local beers and friendly service. You are allowed to bring your dog with you.
