After terrible experience elsewhere yesterday we managed to get ourselves booked here for one night. The chap on reception at the time ( didn't get his name) pulled out all the stops and managed to book us in a fantastic room for 4 nights. This is not our first stay here and certainly won't be
Just stopped off for some lunch and a pint. Food was very good indeed and the service very quick given how busy they were. I suspect the accommodation will be equally as good so would recommend giving this place a try.
Our hiking group called in here for lunch on Saturday. It's our 2nd time ,and both times have been good.
It's clean,dog friendly, and very popular. The food is wonderful, and a pot of tea gives 6 cups.

Lovely dining experience. Staff very friendly welcoming and efficient. Food and drinks were served quickly and were well received by our party of 5. 'Best burger ever! ' Also serve smaller portions for a lesser appetite.
They also welcome dogs.
With great facilities and a lovely room, friendly staff and good food, it all made our stay very enjoyable.

We were lucky to get a table especially as we had the dog with us.

Absolutely fantastic. The food 👌 I had gammon chips and peas the gammon wasn't your usual small piece it was half the size of the plate plate and thick 😀 so good 4 of us were eating and drinking really good price 👍going back definitely
The food was delicious! We ordered classic beef burger and we wasn’t disappointed. Everything was smell good and tasted super fresh. Fries absolutely amazing
The staff is amazing. Friendly and attentive, which was unexpected since they contacted me and said they would be short staffed during our stay. Great job guys covering for each other.
A lovely restaurant/pub located in a quiet town in Wales. Super dog friendly and all the staff are so lovely. The food was incredible and the drinks refreshing. Will most definitely be returning on our next trip to Wales!
We had Sunday roast at Royal ship on the way to Snowdon. Delicious roasted beef and turkey. It was really busy when we arrived around 1.00. It is better to pre-book a table. The only suggestion we have is to provide the drinks before the meal rather than halfway through the meal!. Very easy to loca
