This has to be the best tuna steak I have ever had! Beautifully presented and very generous portion. Loved our starters too. I highly recommend it also very friendly lovely staff.

Nice little steakhouse. Staff were friendly but rushed off their feet due to a no show. But they apologised and were easy to call over if needed. Food quality was good, but not excellent but we were all happy when we left. Some large cuts of steak available for sharers or particularly hungry people.
Whilst visiting North Wales for a break away and revisiting places I had gone to some 35 years ago as a kid we were looking for somewhere nice to eat and found this delightful place. Having done a very limited amount of research, reading reviews, we decided this was the place for us and to be honest
Reasonable food and price. Really enjoyed my “Death by Chocolate” dessert. Excellent service with cosy indoor and pleasant outdoor seating. Do take note they only accept cash.

Great parking but restaurant it's self lacks a bit of a soul. Feels mediocre and like a boring cafe. Food and steaks are fantastic though, cooked just as you like it and great chips. Easy to find, definitely Worth a visit.

Philly steak was amazing and the garlic bread was unbelivable at least someone use good quality cheese and not some cheap one.

The steak was great!
We had the medium ribeye with chips and potatoes, and it was delicious. I lower the rating to four stars, due to our buttered vegetables not tasting buttery, and being slightly overcooked. Also, the toilet was a typical pub toilet.
Overall, The Gatehouse Steakhouse was a gem.
A very nice resturant is a lovely setting.
Starters of Whitebait and Salt and Pepper Pork were fantastic.
Tomohawk and fillet steak were great cuts of meat, only criticism there was the chargrilled taste slightly overpowered the meat.
Overall a very nice night out and reasonably priced.

This is my go to place when i stay in the area the staff are fab all happy and welcoming and i can honestly say i havnt had a tastier steak since the last time i ate here in march i am back in sept and i will definatly be booking agian
