Absolutely fabulous place, cannot praise it highly enough. Went in here yesterday to choose some wine, and the staff were extremely attentive, knowledgable and helpful. As soon as I waked in, a polite and friendly lady asked me if she could help. What's more, she had actually tried the wines herself, so was able to give me an honest opinion about which ones I might like. They had a brilliant collection of wines, which made choosing just one very difficult! I was also interested to hear that they have wine tasting event evenings, which I will certainly be booking tickets for next time I'm here. Personally I think that this place works brilliantly as both a wine bar and a wine shop. When I'm next in Dolgellau, I will 100% be returning, as the two bottles of wine I bought and the service I received here were faultless. A true gem in the town.

Fantastic wine shop with a very relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. Lovely front of house. A touch of passion in the glass and a pinch of love on the plate. We couldn't ask for a better place to visit. Thank you guys for creating another lovely memory. Highly recommended. We love it.

A lovely venue and superb wine and cheese/olives/Parma ham. A beautiful lunch had by all. Fantastic hosts with great ideas for future days of our holiday. Would recommend this venue to everyone, even the coffees are worth going for alone!! Thank you x

Had a light lunch, little bit of everything with delicious mug of soup, a very nice glass of wine and my husband had a smoothie, someone had to drive home. We also bought some rather interesting wines and Dolgellau beers and penderyne whisky, we infact went home with more than we brought. Lovely friendly service and a pleasure to visit again.

An extremely pleasant experience at the wine bar, food was excellent & wine just to my liking. But the welcome & hospitality shown by all the staff was wonderful. Looking forward to my next visit, already booked for a “”Soup & Love Music”” evening.

Bois bach, what a magical night. Totally out of the blue. Tegid and Sophie breeze into our town and enthralled us with a great mix of music. These are the kind of evenings I long for. Great service always with a lovely smile. Diolch yn Fawr

A totally unique experience. Excellent selection of wines with the staff providing a very knowledgeable service. On our first visit we bought a lovely little wine to enjoy in their private rooms upstairs. We returned to buy a selection of wines. Welsh sparkling is very highly rated so we bought a bottle plus a nice smooth Welsh Pinot Noir. If you’re in town you can’t miss this place.

Popped in today for a coffee. Absolutely lovely place. We live the other side of Bala and will definitely return. Delicious coffee. Friendly staff and a lovely range of products. Great range of pastas to stock the cupboard. Extraordinary range of wines. Enjoyed a delicious Rose from Provence in our vegetable garden this evening. Will definitely return. Our new go to place!

More than just a wine shop...although they really know their stuff. Stock some fab Welsh wine along with a fullsome old and new world selection. We also targetted a Friday night evening drink in the wonderful spaces upstairs. Fine selection of wines and sharing plates/nibbles. You can also choose from the retail selection with some corkage. We had a brilliant evening and would highly recommend Gwin Dylanwad Wine to anyone staying in Dolgellau or passing through and wondering where they can buy excellent and well priced wine for a stay in North and Mid-Wales.

My wife and I came here to buy Welsh whiskey. The lady working here helped us out with different descriptions even though she wasn't very fond of whiskey herself. She let my wife try 3 different bottles they had open and was overall extremely friendly and welcoming. We talked about our holidays and she drew us a tour on a piece of paper of places, she thought we might like. She also handed us a a sheet of paper with all the places who have food around in the area. What a nice shop to visit and have a chat. Of course we bought the whiskey here. Thank you!

Ducked in here just before closing on a Tuesday based on a recommendation in The Wild Guide: Wales. Staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, equipping us both with a tailored glass of white to consume on a chaise longue in one of the quirky upstairs rooms. A joy!

Stopped off here whilst camping in the areas to enjoy a glass of beautifully chilled white wine. What a delight after having to drink red wine for the week (no electric hook up for a fridge!). Friendly and helpful staff and a great choice of wine! Quirky little rooms, all decorated in an individual style in which to enjoy your purchase. You will not be disappointed if you visit here!!!!
