100% recommend! Had the chilli burger stack (can't remember the name) and it was one of the best burgers I think ive eaten, even asked if they have the chilli relish/sauce they use to buy and the cook makes it himself, unfortunately they don't sell it but if they did it would sell amazing. As you walk in they even had the real fire place going, cozy, warm, friendly and such a welcoming atmosphere! Even allow dogs to chill out too. Definitely will return

I was passing and wanted a snack. Old style country pub. Reasonable atmosphere. Missing a big roaring fire on a wet horrible day. I had a baguette with butter, ham and cheese. Excellent. Real ham from local butcher. Simple great food. Had the banoffee pie was really good. Great caramel with real digestive biscuits. Proper dessert. Lacks something, ambiance but worth a visit. Lovely to see dogs allowed in the bar side but not restaurant. It could really be a GREAT pub.

Booked a last minute table for Saturday night. Amazing food, great vegan burgers and crispy well cooked chips followed by great puddings.

Staff friendly, food was good , lovely village pub , car park places . Garden needed maintenance, i.e., grass cutting, places to seat .only downside, not accessible to disabled people as far as I could tell , to many steps ..

Delightful cottage style pub in the quiet village of Dodington. They serve well prepared and tasty food with friendly service. I went on an 'open mic' night and the setup and sound was great with a fairly diverse array of talent on display. I'd say it's one you MUST visit at least once.

A great pub. I was very happy with the selection of beers on tap. Decent covid measures in place with an effective one way system and plenty of hand sanitizer dotted around. The staff were nice and friendly as were some the other customers who chatted to us while we were there. Update: Located in a the quiet kentish village of Doddington this is a lovely traditional country pub. We have been back a few times now and we are never disappointed. A friendly pub with the normal high standards you would expect from any Shepherd Neame pub. Usually, I stop off here when on a bike ride as there is some amazing countryside around here to explore and very little traffic. Will back back again soon. :)

A very nice country pub and restaurant. Very friendly staff. Good atmosphere. I have popped in after got cough up in a heavy rain during my cycling trip just to use the restroom and get my water supply for my cycling trip. The place looked so cozy that if we would have more time we would stay for some food and drinks. However the staff were very friendly and i could use the restroom and got my new water supply. Highly recommended.y

Friendly pub serving very well kept beer. Shepherd Neame "Late Red" was perfect. Sunday roast looked and smelled good too but I just had a pint in the sunshine outside.
