We have a very nice lunch here today! The food was fresh and delicious! There was a bit of wait earlier, but worth it! We were served pretty quickly and the food came shortly later! Would definitely return if we are in the area again! There’s limited car parking outside.
I had the French toast with summer berry’s off the breakfast menu, it was to die for and the portion was great. My Mum had the eggs Benedict, the eggs weren’t as runny as hoped for but tasted amazing. We had a slight issue with a half dead wasp on the window ledge but the girl that served us handled
Took a trip down to The Lime Kiln today after deciding which place to brunch at. It was my first time in, my partner had been before. I spied Eggs Benedict (incredibly cheap for £6.95) and was sold rather quickly. I added bacon for an extra £1.95 and the wait was on. We were seated really quickly
Been coming here for a good few years now. The food is always perfect, and the coffee is really good too. Staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and polite. Great to take the dogs here too.
Really fantastic food always here! The setting is very lovely and tasty food and drinks. Staff are friendly and you can see why it is always so busy! Try to come for late lunch, then you will probably be luckier. We have visited many times and it never disappoints.
Very busy but we did go on a sunny saturday afternoon. Food was beautiful. Nice choices on the menu. You can sit inside or outside with lovely canal view.
This is a great little canalside café with a broad menu of eats and a wide selection of coffees, teas and other drinks, all reasonably priced and with plenty of vegan options. There is a small car park next to the ridiculously big Brownhill Countryside Centre signs that betray what the café used to
Super cafe by the Huddersfield canal. Excellent, friendly service. Extensive menu. Good base to start a walk.
Lovely location, friendly waiting staff. Longer than I'd have liked for service, however the very friendly waitress apologised and explained that they were short staffed. Food was good, black pudding and sausage top notch. Flat white was delicious. Recommended.
Went last Sunday for firs time after being recommended. Did not disappoint. Very busy but service fine and the French toast is unbefrickinlievable !!!!! Coffee good, price reasonable. Will definitely return
Stopped for Sunday Brunch with 8 Wakefield Clarion cyclists members. Took a while to get served but food is good quality. I suppose good food is worth waiting for. They are happy to fill your water bottle even topped with Ice which was appreciated. Outside toilets were out of order except for one pa
Friendly service and delicious breakfast! Perfectly cooked pork sausages, and perfect scrambled egg. Stunning scenery.
Me and my dog get a bacon butty to share here every Saturday. The portion size is great. I went to a well known cafe who have opened a new site in uppermill last week and the experience just wasn't the same.... Lime Kiln is always friendly and delicious. Won't go anywhere else
I visited The Limekiln for the first time in ages for an eat-in meal. The food was good and the homemade cake selection was excellent. The upstairs seating is really nice too. Great place to stop and eat!
Fantastic place to enjoy a bite to eat with beautiful views, delectable dishes and wonderful and upbeat staff. Well worth a visit and right on the canal, a gem on the outside of the village. If you're travelling by car there's not much parking so try to find somewhere nearby or park in the village
Been here quite a few times......a lovely little place to stop off for a bite to eat, and dog friendly too. Never had any cause to 'complain' until yesterday. Not a massive issue, but one I think people need to be aware of, and one Management need to sort out. So, my Wife ordered the sausage breakfa
Wow what can I say about this place, its just fantastic, everything about it, the scenery, the view from the veranda, the food and ofcourse the staff, they are sooo helpful and accommodating, my elderly mam had a 4 wheel rollator and they really looked after us, she needed the loo as soon as
A lovely café, delicious food, friendly staff. Glad they've added more tables upstairs now, although the limited parking can be a bit awkward. Definitely worth going in early for breakfast at the weekend since you can't reserve a table.
Loved this little place, the only thing that let it down was the very small parking space. The staff were very friendly and the food was lovely, with some unusual choices.
