Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is there is quite a wait for food. Me and my husband have been here 3 times and all 3 times we have lovely meals (we had something different each time) slightly pricy but don't mind because you pay for quality and that's what it is here. We came as a party of 4 one

Called in for lunch. Met by courteous staff and shown to our table. We chose from an extensive menu. We particularly enjoyed the shared starter platter. Plenty for the 3 of us and very tasty

Really quite impressed with the food here as I'm often not interested in chain pub meals, but the chicken kebab was really quite tasty and not a bad price. Staff were excellent. Came here with a resident of an autistic adults home I work for. Staff were more than happy to give us a Christmas cracker
Visited the Thatchers Needle this evening, we had been quite regular before but was put off by the last couple of visits(pre covid and another two after covid) but tonight did not disappoint, food was so lovely and the staff were very friendly especially the gentleman who served us.
