This place was my first visit. I was a little fussy as I fancied their omelette and pancakes. They switched out the side for pancakes and I must say it was very nice! The coffee was strong and hot. The guy who served us was a very happy, smiley and approachable. I look forward to returning. Service was prompt and straightforward. You order from the table and get up to pay. For 3 of us for lunch and hot drinks it was only £38
We visited Diss as a pit stop on our journey and stumbled across this cafe. There was a vast menu which was good value for money and the food was tasty.

Excellent service, food arrived freshly cooked and quickly. Everybody in our party said their food was very good and value for money. My Eggs Benedict was perfect, bacon ready crisp, poached eggs runny and just the right balance of Hollandaise sauce. We would recommend for lunch if you are in Diss.
What a amazing cafe for diss I have visited cafe delices twice now and it's definitely the best cafe in the town they have a open seating areas and the chairs are very colourful and looked after. They have alot of items to choose from on the menu aswell they have a separate menu for pancakes and crepes and waffles with alot of choices for toppings etc. the staff are very polite and friendly they will come to the table which is great. They do amazing breakfasts and do a perfect egg they do a amazing cappuccino they also do have additional seating upstairs if it is busy on the ground floor definitely they best place in diss to get food and a drink.

We are visiting the area from Whitstable and had a delicious breakfast here. The eggs are so fresh and the bacon crispy. My partner had the full English and was very impressed.

Well - we did come back!! I had amazing pancakes with bacon, egg and maple syrup - delicious!! As was my husbands omelet and my friends vegan breakfast. Such good food, quick service and lovely staff!! Best brekkie in Norfolk!!
I brought one of my posh London friends here for breakfast. The food was hot and fresh little customisations were easily and willingly accommodated. A really good breakfast. Nothing greasy beautiful toast. Thoroughly recommended
I have lived in Diss for just over a year but did not eat at the Cafe until yesterday. The food was very good and the staff were so friendly. The food came to £30 for 3 of us so good value for money.

Best Eggs Benedict for miles 😀😀
First time in here yesterday. Had the large breakfast with an Americano. Food was all cooked perfectly, lovely sweet bacon and nice to see bubble and squeak on the plate. All Food was piping hot. The coffee was one of the best I've had in a long time. Lovely crema, not at all bitter and big enough to last throughout my breakfast. Service was great, quick to take the order and very polite.
We were really looked after well, and had a particularly nice lunch here. Great service and good food that was not expensive.
Always a pleasure to visit Cafe Delices; never had anything but a top notch meal at an affordable price, met with lovely, friendly customer service. Breakfasts are delicious, portion sizes are perfect and prices are brilliant for the quality and amount of food served. Highly recommend to anyone living in, or visiting Diss :)

In Diss for the day. Every intention of having a pub lunch. We stopped here mid-morning for a coffee and were so impressed with the place that we went back for lunch. We were greeted on arrival and immediately shown to a spotlessly clean table for 6. Our drinks came quickly and were spot on (despite fussy orders). The guy that served us, spent time making us feel welcome and ensured that we had everything that we needed, he chatted away to us and had a little joke with us before leaving us to our drinks. As we left, we spotted the lovely plates of lunch that were coming out, they looked very well presented. After a further wander round, we went off to the pub that we had planned on eating at, when one of our party expressed a wish to go back to the Delice instead. Couldn't have made a better decision. I had the prawn and avocado ciabatta. It was extremely well filled, large, fresh and very, very filling. It came with a side salad and portion of coleslaw and at £6.50 was extremely good value. I also had the banana milkshake and it was divine. Freshly made and full of bananary loveliness. Everyone ordered something different, and everyone was extremely happy with their choices. The panini and toastie come with a side salad and a very generous portion of freshly cooked chips. Again, our waiter took the time to chat with us and make sure that everything was as it should be. The cafe was busy, but nothing was too much trouble. Wish I lived closer, I would be a regular! Thank you for a lovely lunch!
A lovely cafe with a varied menu. We went for milkshakes but I saw some of the waffles making their way out of the kitchen and they looked delicious!

Just moved up this way..went into Diss on a Saturday, thinking there would be lots of good places to eat, but not much, Delices is bright and clean. We had a filling meal of meatballs, mash, peas and gravy. It ain,t cordon bleu but tasty. Service is fast and they do make a good cup of coffee.
First visit to this lovely friendly cafe. We had the chicken, bacon and avocado salad. Card machine out of order, I didn't have enough cash on me to cover the full amount. No problem, said the owner and he waived the difference. Excellent service and the meal was superb, with a proper pot of tea to follow. So impressed I went back afterwards and paid double what I owed. Would definitely recommend this charming place and look forward to a return visit.
