The beer's good, and the food!!!, I had the pork crumble with chips & peas, followed by the apple & gooseberry crumble with custard and it was the best meal I've ever had at this pub. There was so much pork in the crumble, it was lovely and the dessert, best crumble I've had in a pub, in a long time. Thank you. 🤓

Popped in on off chance as on holiday in the area. There was a wake on but were welcomed by the staff and excellent service on the food. Thank you for being so welcoming staff and locals.

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday. Really friendly quick service, great value for money. Old fashioned pub and seemed to be bustling with locals which is great. Decent range of options on the menu all reasonably priced.

Had a christening celebration held here for 30+ people. Well looked after by the team, great hot buffet laid on and desserts. Sophie cut the cake perfectly for us. It's what you might call old school but there's nothing wrong with that at all, as it was delicious.

Wow - Amazing place and excellent food. Just moved to the area and we called in and the staff were incredible friendly and the atmosphere amazing. This is a proper pub as it used to be with a really good selection of homemade food. Nothing reheated and all freshly cooked. The deserts are to die for. Very clean and since opening up after lock down they have done a great job in welcoming everyone back. in a safe a professional way. Cant believe the prices either - You must give this place a try

One of the best places, great food, massive portion sizes, great owners and chefs. I mean, anyone who serves angeldelight as a dessert is on to a winner. The 'cheesy garlic bread' is out of this world and for £1.80 you will surprise yourself! The food can often be a wait but it's worth it. Parking is easy and it has outside benches and smoking areas. The pub doesn't contain lots of pub games as it's generally just a food pub. Lovely collection of bottles on the walls also. Definitely recommend this place for food! Also, the fruit pavlova is amazeballs.
