This place is a little gem food and service was excellent just wished we lived locally would be there every week. We were visiting the area and just chanced upon this family run restaurant tucked away in a courtyard. Food was very well priced and great quality for the price

This was my first experience of Sing Tongs! And I was not disappointed! From the outside it looks small, but I was so surprised when I went upstairs and found a lovely good sized restaurant. The restaurant is family run and has a wonderful homely atmosphere. The staff were so kind and the cook even came to my table to discuss my gluten free food! The food was amazing, it is all cooked fresh and you could tell because it was delicious! I can't wait to go back once lockdown is over!! Thank you Sing Tong and staff!

Friendly service from the owner and staff of this local Thai restaurant. Could just as easily be a typical English café by first appearances with a slightly ramshackle and mismatched furniture and decor. Standard menu, the food is lovely. Cash only, be prepared for fairly narrow turning staircase to the first floor.

To echo what everyone else has already said in the reviews: The service here is so friendly and welcoming and the food is authentic and truly delicious. We were greeted with a lovely smile and pleasant conversation. The lady who served us the whole evening couldn't be more helpful and helped me ensure my meal was Vegan by making changes for me - without me even having to ask her first! A few notes for anyone who hasn't eaten here before: - Bring cash with you, as its a cash only restaurant! - The food is cooked fresh to order, so don't be in a rush to eat and leave - The decor feels as though you are in someone's dated living room. This doesn't take away from the meal at all, but don't expect shiny, new surroundings here. It's welcoming, authentic and doesn't try to be flashy. Overall, beautiful service, food and incredible value for money. We are so happy we found this place and can't wait to come back.

Highly recommend for dining in or take out. Always amazing food, freshly cooked, great service!! Have not found a better Thai. Just a tip if you plan to eat in the restaurant, make sure you have plenty of time as the food can take a while to cook as all freshly made. Cannot fault anything though☺️

Amazing food, good atmosphere and you could not get better service. We went for my birthday meal and I have never been so well looked after. They really made an effort to make it special, it was lovely, thank you so much ❤️

One of the best kept secrets in Diss, the only genuine Thai for miles! If you’ve been to Thailand, you’re in for a real treat, authentic Thai to take out and eat in with the usual Thai quirks you may have experienced abroad. The owner is lovely and really brings a slice of Thailand to this hidden corner of Norfolk. The food is amazing and you’ll leave happy and round like Buddha! Highly recommend!

Myself and my work colleague ate here for the night. I’ve personally travelled around Thailand and Asia and this was right up there with the best if not the best red curry I have ever eaten! The waitress was really friendly and got our spice levels to perfection. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Suk is the waitress and hubby is the cook. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is friendly. But be prepared to wait for your order, no fast food here. The cost of our meal for two was £50 with drinks. 3 mains and 2 starters all excellently prepared. On the again list.

I recently ordered takeaway here as my local Thai was too busy for my custom! So I went on Google (as you do) and discovered this little gem, I was overwhelmed by how good it was! If you want authentic Thai food with all the beautiful, delicate flavours, this won't disappoint. The price didn't dissapoint either, very good value for money. Needless to say I won't be visiting my 'local' anymore as it has become a victim of it's own success; expensive and the service has suffered. I will be giving Singapore Tong Thai my business from now on, I highly recommend. 10/10.

This is such an great little restaurant. It's been many years since I last went there (13 years if I remember correctly) and it hasn't changed. The decor is authentic Thai restaurant; living room -esque adorned with Thai touches and very welcoming. The food was nothing short of amazing, they ask you how hot you like your food (there are two scales, English hot and Thai hot, be warned of the latter!!!) The food was cooked to perfection and nicely served. The service was lovely, our waitress (I think the owner) was all smiles and couldn't do enough to help us. She was engaging and welcoming. It was only our party plus another couple in the night we went and it was all very relaxed. If there was any slight negative was that the pace drinks were delivered was a little slow but I can't complain as some of the party still had wine in their glasses. I will be back many more times now I've refound this Gem.

Quite excellent food, light, fresh and delicious ! Super friendly staff and a lovely cosy location. Definitely need to book and I'd suggest advance order as it's really busy.

Good food. Best dish was the duck. Good service but be prepared to wait as the two ladies run the place single handedly. One serves, one cooks.

Great authentic Thai food cooked on the spot. Could be warmer on a winter's evening. Very welcoming owner and servers. Stairs to restaurant very steep so may not be good for any disability .
