Great curry house. Family sized naan is like a surf board! Absolutely huge. Curries all tasty. Beer on draught is good. Shame they no longer do cocktails though.

Absolutely delicious meal at East to West this evening. The rice was fragrant, the curry was beautifully balanced and the nan bread was light with a crunch. It wasn't cheap but it was definitely worth every penny. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive.

Best Indian take-away for New Mills. Tasty food and a great selection for people who love spice and people who prefer milder too. We always like to try something different when we order and so far we would order all the dishes again. Recommend the set menu with the saag paneer, can easily be for 3-4 people it's huge and all the dishes are fab. Delivery staff are always friendly and even though we haven't eaten in the restaurant, the vibe always seems nice of we are picking up on our way home.

Just been in and the food was incredible! The massive garlic naan bread delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly and everything was very fragrant and tasty. The staff were very friendly and attentive without pestering too much. Hot towel and a chocolate at the end was a nice touch. Definitely will be visiting again.

Enjoy some Indian and Persian food at Ivory IndoPersian Hidden away on the edge of Stockport, Ivory IndoPersian provides a mixture of Indian and Persian food. Each type of cuisine has its own chef, so make sure you order off the menu that you prefer - don’t expect your asian spices on the Persian dishes. It was really busy when we visited, and at full capacity it may feel a little cramped. Don’t let that deter you from trying it out though. The Indian dishes were; \Pani Puri [£3.50] - This was spicy and yummy, with mashed potatoes inside. The tamarind sauce was really tasty \Ivory Indian Special [For 2 £30.00] - Big, juicy, crunchy prawns just the way we like it and with a proper tandoori taste. The meaty lamb chops were done exactly how you want it \Achari [£12.90] - This was such a good recommendation from one of the owners. Sweet yet spicy and filled with a mixture of spices - such a good lamb curry The Persian dishes were; \Mix Mezze [£7.50] - Included the cucumber yoghurt, a mixed salad, hummus and yoghurt. The cucumber yoghurt was refreshing, the yoghurt tasted like plain, greek yoghurt - think it was meant to be garlic and shallots but this didn’t come through. The indian naan bread that came with it was nice, but a Persian flatter bread would have been better \Ivory Persian Special [For 2 £37.00] - Same as the indian special, the lamb chops were pure meat! The chicken was juicy, the flat kebab a little dry and the other kobedas cooked nicely \Zereshk Polow & Chicken [£12.90] - A sweet taste, quite like rose and saffron providing that unusuality. A simple, unique dish that was really nice The sweetness for the end consisted of the list below. We were so full by this point that they gave us little tasters so we could see what they were like; \Gulab Jamun [£5] - Pure yum but imagine with a bit of ice cream, this would have been heavenly. The cardamom wasn’t overpowering at all, which was nice L\emon Cheesecake [£5.60] - A tangy, refreshing hit \Baklava [£7] - Pure sweet, syrupy baklava We’ll be back to try some more of the Persian goodies Recommended for: Curries, Indian, Persian Service: High Price: ££ Halal: Full Menu

Really good authentic food great setting, only thing was music was a little too loud couldn't have a conversation without shouting but the food made up for it. Will be going back again.

Love this India. We have only had takeaway & collected our self so cannot comment on service or atmosphere, but I can say the food is first class.

For the price, the food was excellent. Great choice and what we ordered was very flavoursome. The service was a little odd. Young lad greeted us as we entered. No hello etc, just "you booked?". Took us to our table, sat us down, then moved us because it was booked by someone else... Food came out fast but after the main it took an age to clear away plates and no one came to take desert orders etc. Had to shout a waitet over. Also ordered a beer which was forgotten. So no drink during the meal. Atmosphere would have been 5* but a couple came in with literally about 10 kids and one was a loud unruly thing, made a lot of racket and the parents didn't seem interested in sorting. Had they not been there then it was a great atmosphere in there.

Food lovely but the service was a bit slow. They gave us free poppadoms to compensate. Good value for money, would go again.

First time I've been since it became East to West. Booked a table for 3 @ 7pm on a Tuesday night, wasn't very busy but there were a few people in. The service was great, but the food was absolutely 💯 outstanding 👌🏻 I personally had chicken shashlik, mushroom pilau, madras sauce and a garlic naan. I've had hundreds of currys and this was as good as any, and also generously portioned, a real plate filler.

Tried East to West for the first time tonight and I can categorically say it is the best Indian in the local area. Everything was brilliantly cooked and fresh, even down to the chutneys provided with the poppadoms. The curries are flavourful and brilliantly spiced with very tender and juicy meat. Our food was delivered in under 30 minutes and arrived piping hot and fresh. I really hope that everyone in Disley supports this restaurant and enables them to continue serving great quality, affordable food at a historically tumultuous venue.

What a treat to find this place on the way home, Amazing fresh food and pleasant staff, our mixed tandoori for 2 starter was so fresh and the main for both was 1 of the best tastes we've had in years. Props to the owners and chefs there

First visit and we will definitely be back! Mahfuz looked after us all and was so helpful, he advised on the extensive menu and helped us pick perfect choices. Service was very attentive but relaxed, food was outstanding. Thanks so much to our bar tender too! See you all soon !
