The White Lion - Disley - Photo album

Despite the best efforts of the railways we made it to Disley. Driven through hundreds of times but only stopped a couple of occasions. Second visit to this pub. Nice and airy with friendly staff. Beer garden to front on busy A6. Large car park to rear. Good Real ale.pub. had an excellent Bradfield
Great food - had the Sunday roast dinner and it was delicious. Can't recommend the gravy enough! Great atmosphere and all in all a nice spot for a family meal out or go to the local for a few. Always spot familiar and friendly faces when there.
Walked here for lunch as was staying at the nearby Albert Hotel. Wasn't expecting much but the poached cod was amazing, as was the scampi and tartare sauce
Great place, lovely food, service was brilliant with a really helpful friendly landlord
Great friendly tradition pub plenty of ales and ciders, nicest chips I've had in years and best of all dog friendly.
Nice, Bright, Clean and pleasant to visit. Nice range of drinks with a Very Large Gin collection. Highly recommended.
Great Sunday Dinner in a relaxed atmosphere, perfect way to round off the weekend!
Stopped in here on a whim and very pleased we did. Very friendly staff and great service. Had a Turkey Sunday Lunch and a Burger with Stilton. Both very good and generous portions. Also so nice beers on tap had the White Finger from Harrogate. Spot on.
Went for the 1st time today, had a lovely meal all the food was spot on, all the staff very friendly, great pints of lager, very clean, great pool table, football on the TV what more could you ask for 😁😁😁
Friendly staff , puts one at ease, lovely smile😘. Our waiter, was very funny made us Lough. We felt more relaxed. Recommend, lots off space even at buisy times. Nice and friendly. I like this place. I find this place to be much better as the alcohol flowed.
We had the fish and chips and the scampi and chips. Both were delicious. Proper home cooked chunky chips. The fish was lovely and flaky and inside delicious tasty light batter. Had a couple of pints of Amstel and the whole cost came to just shy of Β£25. Very good value especially as the portion size
Really well kept beers and a lot of choice. Good pub food at a reasonable price. Spacious and clean interior. Dog friendly. A little gem with friendly owners. Open for food 12 till 9 (8 on Sundays) except no food on Mondays.
Quiet for a Saturday night, but extremely welcoming and friendly with reality good beer. Brilliant.
Love this pub, staff are so welcoming, food is amazing and reasonably priced, great range of gins too! What more could you want?! Plus we can take the dog so we don't have to leave him at home!
Popped in for a beer after a walk in Lyme Park Disley. Not been here for a number of years. New landlord very friendly. Beer excellent. Good selection too. Will be back to try some food soon.
Lovely friendly, family pub. Had a gorgeous Rogan Josh for dinner which was beautifully homemade. Adey and Elaine make a great team, along with quiz master Ted who is fabulous fun, 5* would give 10* if I could!
We had lovely meals of Cajan Chicken and Roast Beef with all the trimmings followed by 3 different desserts. Ginger sponge, ice cream and a Belgium waffle, non of which over faced or was too much to eat. The bar maid was very friendly and chatty. A good place to go for good food and a good meal.
A traditional pub with a great selection of beer and tasty food. Renowned for its pies (rightly so), it serves a varied menu including paninis and other light bites. It is dog friendly.
Not sure if this has changed hands but we came for Fish&Chips and it was beautiful, we were the only people in but it was midday! Always people sat outside when the suns out. Great pub grub!
