Lovely evening meal with a friendly atmosphere and staff.
Menu has plenty of choice without swamping you.
Prices are reasonable and food was first class.
Will definitely be visiting on a more regular basis.

A really lovely place that we discovered by accident. Ample parking, lovely patio area and orangery style dining room. Staff were friendly and helpful. The menu was great with lots to choose from. All of our food was gorgeous, but the twice cooked chips are next level! Proper homemade chips! Amazing! Miles better than any chain pub restaurant and better priced! Absolutely recommend and can’t wait until we can visit again!
We visit every time we are in Northumberland and have such a great time. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty...makes me feel like proper home food but with great service. We were served by Connor who was very attentive and helpful. He recommended some great choices and everyone in our party was very happy 😊 will be back.
Came here for Sunday lunch after seeing good review on Instagram by a few different influencers… was not disappointed, the food was delicious! One of the best roasts I’ve had out. The service was fab and the staff were very attentive. It’s a very lively atmosphere on a Sunday because it’s so popular and it’s a fairly small dining area which I didn’t mind but something to bare in mind if you’re looking for a chilled Sunday roast!
Popped in on our way to the Airport. Chose this place due to the reviews and I am not disappointed. The food was excellent and the portion was huge. Cozy surroundings and super friendly staff. Highly recommend this one.
The white Swan came highly recommended by a friend, we have now been several times, I would definitely recommend that you book a table on the weekends but not so much through the week unless there is a few of you.

The menu is excellent, such a choice. All the food is homemade so if you need to change anything you just have to ask the staff and they will oblige.
The restaurant is beautifully presented and always very clean.
Can't wait to go back when the weather gets better as it has a lovely outside space with the best pond.

Lovely food really enjoyed my Sunday roast. (Good veggie options too). Very efficient service however one lady was slightly rude who seated us. Looked at me and my family as if seating us at our (prebooked) table was an inconvenience and barely took us to the table before rushing off leaving us stood there a little confused and when we double checked where we were seated she was sharp with us. I saw she did a similar thing with a family who were waiting after us (talking to them in an angry and impatient tone).
Service was very efficient however barely had 7 seconds before asked to order drinks, think maybe it was a rush to get one in one out (understandable but would’ve been nice to have felt a little more relaxed, but again understandable).
Food was absolutely amazing can’t criticise it. Great portions and a good tasty nut roast which can be hard to come by. Nice atmosphere. Just slightly unprofessional service (one of the waiters made a dig at another waiter whilst serving us). Will be back though for the yummy food:)
Booked an early time, food was delicious, i had Korean Belly Pork for starter amd my partner fried goats cheese ,well presented, good value for money. Started getting busier when we were onto our mains. Plenty of seats and a lovely entrance with seating area for the warmer nights. Will be back again

We went here for Sunday lunch, and as recommended on the website we booked a table in advance and just as well as it was very busy, so busy that we were politely asked to wait in the bar until a table became free. Within minutes we were called through and shown to our table. A waitress came straight over and took our drinks order and quickly returned with them and immediately took our food order. The food came quick which was fantastic given how busy it was. Its a big room and caters for large groups which we found quite noisy at times so if your wanting a quite Sunday lunch I don't think you will get it here, it's vibrant and busy and full of friends and families having a good time together. The food looked great the portion size was great and it tasted amazing. This place is in a really nice location, there's plenty of parking, and it's got fabulous staff serving fantastic food we would definitely recommend and definitely return.
Food was absolutely delicious we all loved our Sunday dinners and the service was great the only issue we had was the seats were extremely uncomfortable and the table was too low for some of us to sit comfortably but otherwise it was excellent
Came here for Sunday dinner at the weekend. The food was really nice and the service quick and friendly. The pub itself was extremely loud and there were lots of kids screaming to the point where we couldn't hear the other end of our table talk. Maybe we timed it badly.
In summary, Sunday dinner lovely, noise annoying!
Absolutely love it here. Food is great every single time and the staff are amazing. Would highly recommend any day of the week but especially for a good Sunday lunch!
Thursday night is Asian night, I had the beef and mushroom ramen, it was amazing highly recommended.

Arrived for my husband's 70th birthday lunch with 2 great friends. Our starters very nice, main course friends had scampi with chips and bites and chips. Husband had mince and leek dumplings - must have been nice as none left on plate! My gammon was a bit tough but with 2 eggs, chips and garden peas served me well... Waitress a lovely polite girl, if all like her they'll not do bad.

SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!.....if you read my previous review you will know why.
We went yesterday for a family reunion,
It was going so well, the service was good, the food was good.....then we were told "your hour is up" ,we were asked to vacate the table because we only had it for an hour??
At NO time when the table was booked and at NO time when we arrived or through the meal were we told this, not a sign on the table. This was a reunion celebration and we were all a bit shocked because our visits in the past have always been so good and positive. We had travelled a distance and ended up having to go to a local pub The Badger to finish our reunion. I can't tell you how disappointed I am.
