Regular customer to Cookies as I live locally, decent and tasty food, good portion sizes for a decent price and staff always say hello. Speaks for itself when people drive from surrounding towns and villages to get a takeaway there. Can't beat it! Will keep going there as long as I'm about.

Was recommended this takeaway by a fellow trucker. Opted for the beef chow-mein (having been assured it did not contain mushrooms - my rare allergy).
Quite a bit more expensive than I pay near home BUT, WOW was it worth the money. Loads of succulent, tasty beef, superb noodles, just enough onions and beansprouts.
During my travels in the RAF, as a tourist to many parts of the world and, more recently as a trucker travelling the UK, this is the best beef chow-mein I have ever had.
