Visited this little gem of a place this weekend. The place has a lovely feel to it, very welcoming. We ordered our food and it was delicious! The homemade cheese and onion pie was very very nice, the pizza had plenty of toppings and very fresh. The lasagne was cooked perfectly. And the steak & Guinn
Great family pub with a really nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices and dog friendly too. Will definitely be back! Thanks
Stopped here to eat, great food, great service, friendly locals, mine host very jovial. Cannot comment on rooms as we only ate here but on the basis of our experience would recommend to anyone, assuming they can find it, my satnav was useless.

My partner and myself have just returned from a fantastic 2 course meal at this little treasure of a pub. The 3 for £10 starters were presented beautifully and were delicious, and our main courses were equally impressive. The portions were extremely generous, the landlord and the young lady on the
Beautiful decor, warm and friendly atmosphere. Good drinks selection and very inexpensive for soft drinks. Usually do food but didn't eat there this time. Staff were friendly and attentive. Large car park, nice outdoor seating area.
After a bad experience at another establishment we were welcomed with open arms here with our dog, lovely pub with friendly atmosphere. Homemade food was so nice (homemade cheese and onion pie highly recommended) A gentleman even brought our dog a treat over. Wish there were more places like this!!
We stayed here whilst walking the Pennine Way, getting the bus service down from Burn Clough. We stayed overnight and found the rooms to be immaculate, well fitted out, and quiet. The chef was ill the night we stayed, so I cannot comment on the food, but the manager let us buy fish and chips from ac
Brilliant pub , great food fantastic owners couldn't have been more accommodating. Even made us a breakfast for our arrival after a long trip up from Essex. Good accomadation at very last minute.
Very nice and cosy little pub. The food was good and not expensive at all. The owners and the bartender were so friendly and welcoming. We will be back.
First time visiting. Only stayed for one drink so didn't see much of the pub. Outside looked lovely and inviting which attracted us. Inside was warm and just as inviting. Staff were very friendly. Know they do food but not sure what times. Planning on visiting again and eating next time.
Good local pub. Always got a good atmosphere going.

What a lovely pub! The landlord Steve and Landlady Eve are so nice and welcoming along with their staff. The social distancing and rules are exceptional and we felt very safe. I would highly recommend a visit. 👍
A fantastic warm welcome from Vicky and Tim. Warm and inviting with twinkly lights all over. Good food and beer. A good selection of Gin for those who like that stuff. The new pick and mix is fun and adds some unusual variety to the bar snacks. Dogs welcome even if slightly muddy and damp I go in th
